Default Inquisitor in the Scout Group

In raids I'm usually in the scout group. 90% of the time. The other 10% I'm in the OT group. Scouts like to dps of course so I enhanced tenacity as a given. Since I'm in the scout group, my group reactive forgiving diatribe really isnt needed. I have allevation for group heals and penance for quick single target reatives. Its not like I'm in a group where my fellow members are taking damage every few seconds making my grooup reactive useful.

So instead of keeping enhance: forgiving diatribe in my raid / heal spec, I've decided that I could put it elsewhere. Like into debuffs or something, or higher mitigation of my group buffs. The more mitigation and STA I have the higher chance I have of living. And that's good. My guild is moving into TSO, and I only have one piece of t3 crit mit gear. So the extra mitigation from my buffs could be beneficial to me and my comrades. Just wondering what you guys think.

Default Re: Inquisitor in the Scout Group

Unless there is a physical AE, or someone in my group may end up tanking (like after a mem wipe), I usually drop the mit buff to put Tenacity on one more person (for either +dps or even just +hps). Similarly for the resist buff and AE's that it helps with.
In general, if a scout gets aggro and gets hit, you're not going to keep them up, even if you start casting the instant they get it. The extra mit is wasted on them for direct attacks.

For DPS group inquisitors, I would say make sure you have points in Tenacity, Fanatical Devotion, Alleviation, and anything that improves your own DPS.

Dropping the mit buff for extra tenacity is a genius idea. In both of my specs I have enhance tenacity maxed. Those other lines you mentioned are needed as well. Thanks.

Just wait till you have the 4set TSO bonus. You'll be spamming the 70-79 and 80 chat looking for an Ill Will.

Generally if you are in a scout group your job is to A) Keep up with Choker damage B) maintain group Reactives and C) DPS. Spec'ing almost entirely for DPS except for the group heal and group mitigation buffs is the way to go, even if a single scout in your group and/or you are missing Tenacity. ALOT of the AEs this expansion are physical damage type, which means its all on you to save the group's ass.
