Best raid group setup

I thought i seen a thread on this a while back but i searched and looked and cant find it, so here it is again.

What is the best classes to have in the inquisitors group for a raid in general and is there a reason to put a brigand and an inquisitor in the same group? This is for a dps group and not an ot group situation.

I was just curious and this prolly changed since rok to tso anyhow.

I was under the impression that it was troub, illy, wiz/warlock, swash/ass, and inq with the last spot being questionable but berserker for ot group. Not sure about that last spot for dps group. would it be a brig or maybe a dirge?

My group is a full DPS group, with no tank. I always like to have a Brigand in my group, also to put Inquest on them.

I like to have an Illy in the group for power regen, or a Bard. But some mobs have to switch out the Illy.

Been a long time to have a berserker, or a SK in my raid group.

I have Tenacity on all in group except myself, last buff if there is room is Sacred Armor.

But yes troub, illy, wiz/warlock, swash/ass, Brig, Dirge, are all good for a good DPS group.

Thanks for the reply. I guess this isnt a topic that other inquisitors want to discuss.
Would thier be a reason or preference to have a ranger in that group over the troub for the illusionists buffs and other buffs for dps or no ranger at all? Cmon people, i know there are more opinions out there. Im just trying to understand a dps group makeup for a dps group inq.

im a melee dps group.... ususally we have the exact same folks in mine

Inquis (me), Dirge, Troubador, Illusionist, Brigand with the last spot being another healer depending on the fight like a shaman or druid.... but usually I'm solo healing so we put another Brigand or assassin..... sometimes ranger

the group i build for myself and our other inquisitor on 99% of raid encounters is

inquis dirge troub illy wiz/warlock assassin/brig

every class can blow the shit out of anythign in that setup and its realistic to set up to.

The best pure DPS group for p much all of the classes involved is Dirge, Troub, Illy, Coercer, Inquis, and either SK/Wizard/Assassin. Obviously it's pretty taxing on your utility classes, and p much impossible to get on a regular basis, but that's why its the best case scenario.

More realistically, drop the Coercer and choose 2 of the final 3.

Our guild goes with Inq(me), Wizard, Warlock, Ranger, Illy, Troub. It's a pretty hot setup. UT for the lock, TC for the wiz, IA for the ranger, and fanatical devotion for all! Our 2 sorcerors and one ranger in the group were hitting 15k regularly and put up 12.5k+ zonewides last time we did palace(Maybe even 13k+, I didn't keep the log =\). And I highly doubt all 3 of them even have a 4 set... I could see other options being nice too, but this one made the most sense to me. The 3 dps usually parsed between 11 and 11.5k ZWs without an inquis in grp. And yes I was of course running fanaticism the whole time.
