Default TNT

introduction:

im kinda getting sick of wearing 4 manawell items to not run OOP and the kluzen BP seriously needs to go. Hence I figured i need to get a TNT farm group running.

PS: kultak neck refuses to drop (not seen once) and zarrakon belt is not available yet.

/introduction

ok, now the problem with TNT is, we didnt do it back in EOF and neither in ROK so i gotta say i still have no real clue about how this damn zone works, but was hoping someone has been farming it lately and was able to answer some questions:

a) is there an easy way to figure out the char_X that needs to stay dead to avoid the occasional trash mob stampede?

b) killing the trash groups is not much of an issue anymore since they hit like old grannies, neither is the harbinger of any danger.

but... next namer, queen iirc... how many people do you need to bring to be able to disintegrate the statues at the sides or how do you do it with say only 1 group or two, since those damn living statues in the statue rooms seem to respawn way too often as you get kicked into them every so often, we always needed to clear both rooms on our tries and still faced some statue adds somewhen along the way (btw. we positioned the tank group with the queen on the outside of one of the stairs... is there a better place?)

c) all-in-all, what would you say how many groups does it take to be able to clear the zone up to and including mayong, given a semi-good equipped grp of people was available (meaning: gear up to and including xebnok, penta, kultak is available)

d) any voodoo-trick to get mayong to drop the earring over the damn ring (btw havent fought this mayong version yet) (NOT a serious question for those in doubt)

A) Just kill the trash. No one needs to be dead.

b) Don't get kicked into the rooms. The kick is away from the queen. Maybe that will help.

c) Have done it with 10 people

d) Just pull Mayong including all trash and you can choose your drop. (Also just kidding. )

Have everybody drop group, nobody casts anything, whomever ends up dead is the person who needs to stay dead.

Just pull the initial statues to the entrance without crossing the line that forms between the entrance hallway and the first circular room to avoid the trap.

At the bottom of the stairway is a lamp that you can wedge into to prevent all movement. Alternatively, at the entrance if you walk up the stairs along the side you can find a snag in the corner of the top step which also prevents all movement. If you kill the correct statues, they won't respawn. Ask the scouts which mobs they always seem to aggro when the knockback hits. After you have prepared the rooms, you can wait for everything to be ready on your own time, pop temps and go bananas. Once you kill a regen statue, it won't come back. So if you wipe but still manage to kill a statue, you made progress.

You can do the zone with one group if you bring the heat. Two groups make it ridiculously easy especially with the now ten level advantage.

Mayong drops three items per kill, so that should cut down on the farm time.

Actually it is harder to get the wrist from the trash. But that is also the best piece of the set. ;)
