TSO Shadow AA's Help
I'm starting to map out what I want for TSO AA's and would like to compare it to the general community. Please let me know if this if I'm on the right track.
0-5-0-5-0-0-0-0
0-0-5-0-5-0-1
5-5-5-0-5-5-1
0-0-4-5-5-5-2-2
This seems like a good blend of DPS and Heals. I don't think I want to take Ally Revivication or Allied Prayers. I don't cast Malvolent Diatrebe that much due to the long casting time and I figure my rezzes are fast enough since I dumped AA into them in the EoF tree. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

anyways
the reason why you dont take ally prayers its because it hardly goes off,not because of the cast time on our group reactive. if you have 6 people in your group and 9 triggers when the aoe hits you still have 3 triggers up, meaning allied prayers hasnt gone off yet. even if you have an illy in your group you still have 2 triggers and summoners' pet usually avoid the aoes. this is of course if youre solo healing a group.
why wouldnt you cast it anyways? the long cast time gives you a high chance for ReH or EmG or other proc items you have to trigger.
i always been mixed because of the eof tree, basically forced to ca's cause of how shitty that tree was so i took a little more dps oriented aa's in the shadows tree.
you would be better off going 005500 in the priest tree. its easier for anyone in raid to get their resist, physical mit is a different story would benefit your mages especially if you put points into it. the raid rez sucks i would rather put that 1 point into fanatical devotion since you only have 4/5 .
the rest doesnt look bad. i dont have points in inquisition, its a nice spell but it really only helps the tank and maybe the rouges who stay in most of the time on named fights. inquisition is awesome on fights like trakanon where everyone is bunched up under the mob lol.
my tso aa looks something like this:
00050500
505500
055055
00505522
been thinking of taking points out of yualp an into divine recovery since im down the int line and now that palace trash is a joke i hardly even try to dps, just to get fanatical devotion up. i also try to get fanatical devotion up on nameds when aoe arent due.

Re: TSO Shadow AA's Help
Thanks for the response, Rigo. A couple things though:
It's not that I don't cast Malvolent Diatrebe, I just don't cast it that much due to the type of gear available to me and the group build. If you didn't notice, I'm lvl 60. I'll have 200 AA before I even leave lvl 70 so I'm thinking outside of TSO gear. Our guild is a progression guild and we lvl lock our toons for raiding.
Thanks for the tip on the priest tree. I'll give that one a try. I'm a bit torn on DR right now and, though, I have a AA spec with it on my AA Mirror, I haven't really used it much. ATM, heal crit is a big help for me but I think once I get into higher tiers and heal crit is easier to max out, I may revisit that.
I noticed you took Litany of Combat. Am I reading that effect wrong or does it only affect pets. Could you explain the value of that AA a bit more, please so I understand it?

Re: TSO Shadow AA's Help
you cant get more than 100 aa's uless youre levle 70+ i thought, unless it was changed?
litany of combat aa gives 3 buffs, one for your pet, one for your spells and one your for melee.. you can only have one up at a time and your heal stance cancels it out

Re: TSO Shadow AA's Help
It's actually 160 AA's at lvl 60. 200 AA's at lvl 70 as long as you meet the requirements in the Shadows tree for each tier.
I'm at 103 atm and we have some guildies in the 130's hehe.

Re: TSO Shadow AA's Help
Yes, I think they changed it when TSO launched.
LoC sounds pretty beneficial, then. Can you choose from the three buffs at any time or is this a random thing? Battle Prowess looks pretty sweet!

You can get 200 AAs at Level 10(If you can get that much, but technically you can). Unless you're on a PvP server.
The 100 AAs up until Level 70 requirement was removed a month or 2 before TSO came out.

Right, but you can only spend 160 AA's at lvl 60.

nah its not random, when u put points into it you get three new buffs. i use battle prowess, well i did, for palace trash really its pretty sweet for us since our dps is mostly auto attack, i also used it on the second named in mmb before they gimp the shit out of the healer add.
