Default bestt aa lines pre 70

i have read a lot of post and saw many tips on how to run AAs but being only lvl 23 i wana know whats is/would be the best way to go pre lvl 70 where you only get 50 points per tab, mostly soloing.
also read a post saying they use a 2hd weapon. wouldn't it be better to go staff an board?

Nope -- for solo inquisitors a melee combat spec is your best bet. Once you have 100% crit -- and this should be a high priority -- a slow 2H is your best friend.

Doing the math:
- one weapon is 100-200 w/ 3s delay
- another weapon is 0-300 w/ 3s delay
- a 2 hander with 100-300 and 3s delay (30% better than both 1h)
- a 2 hander with 0-800 and 6s delay (same damage rating as previous)

With no critical hit modifiers, these weapons do the same damage. Remember that criticals first multiply the damage by 1.3, then bump it to 'max' if it's less than max. Applying a 100% critical rule to the damage:
- the first does 200-260/3s
- the second does 300-390/3s
- the third does 300-390/3s -- no better than the previous
- the fourth does 800-1040/6s or 400-520/3s (to make comparison easy)

You can see that weapons with a large damage spread and a high max damage benefit the most from 100% melee crit. This doesn't even count the affects of melee haste, double attack, or flurry.

In other words, go for 100% melee crits, get a high max damage weapon (almost always a 2 hander), then go for combat cleric. Some inquis choose combat cleric first, then 100% melee crit; they can use sword+board until they start bumping up their melee crit.

Plus, you don't really need a shield; you're already wearing plate armor, right? And you can heal yourself. You can compensate for the slightly higher incoming damage, but you don't have many ways to generate high DPS.

Just change it to 1st get the CAs and then the 100% melee crit and you are fine. ;)

As posted above, go down the Stamina line until you can put 8 points in melee crit to get to 100%.

Next, since you primarily solo, I would suggest going all the way down the Strength line to get Steadfast. That is such a useful ability. As long as you stand still for more than a second or two, you can't be interrupted. This is great for when things go south and you need to cast a heal on yourself. I've played other healer classes and there's nothing worse than trying to get a heal off, then dying because you keep getting interrupted.

In your Inquisitor (RoK) tree, go down the Battle Cleric line. You can do this before or after Steadfast above - whatever you think would suit you best. At a minimum, spend 5 points in Invocation Strike, Writhing Strike, Strike of Flames, and Litany Circle. Once you put 5 in all of those, you can get the end line Battle Cleric ability, which makes the previous four abilities cost less and, and gives you bonus mitigation for taking hits. As stated, your high melee crit will make all of these attacks stronger - and they start out fairly strong. I remember someone linking me a T8 Master of the equivalent Invocation spell, and it would have done less damage for me than Invocation Strike from the Battle Cleric line. A lot of that depends on how high your Int vs. Str is, but the bottom line is that these combat arts can do a bunch of damage without ever having to upgrade to Adept/Expert/Master as you level.

After that, you should still have quite a few points left before you get to 70... I would suggest maybe Enhance Condemned and maybe some of the damage reactives. Really, put points into anything that you cast a lot.
