Re: test notes
Inquisitors never did quite as well but they used to do better in comparison is the point he was making Leo.
But as the game is progressing the Inquisitor is being pushed further and further into a support/DPS healer role, atleast that is what these changes and the AAs provided in EoF suggested to me.
I really wish the inquis heal line was worth taking past faster resses. but 5m further heal range? No thanks, that can potentially push me out of range of other effects from other sources.
How about getting the +5m Heal range AA changed to a -25% to -33% power cost when Convert triggers.
That would make me unspec out of nearly fully maxed battle cleric as soon as it hits, don't know about the rest of you, but that would be my reaction.
And for that block value I was using what used to be a round shield that I remember sticking in the bank on another of my toons, but is now a buckler. There are a couple shields out there tho with well over 600 protection that an Inquis can use, now to just track them down and run numbers on them fully adorned and such.
Also I just thought about this, but would the riposte adornments work with our avoidance lending? The riposte adornments have been parsed out to be uncontested, a flat 2% per adornment of attacks riposted, haven't tried, nor have the funding to test and see if these adornments will work for clerics, but if they do that can be another way to add some real avoidance to your target.

Re: test notes
I'd be confident to wage money that without having the deflection skill, you gain nothing by +deflection mods on equipment.
And Leorra, I admitted you were right? I proved you wrong. You said templars have always had MORE healing spells. Not bigger, but more spells... Wrong. There is a huge difference between the two words, work it out some time.
Even Echo agreed, the variations between Templar/Inquisitor healing capacity used to be very close. Over time SoE has been changing/guiding the class away from its original design.
Or... did I also admit with this post, that it is all a dream created in my minds eye?!? I mean after all, what would I know.

Re: test notes
Thats the question I was asking Avirodar, since that avoidance is not just increasing the native chance, it is added in as a flat 2% per piece of all avoidance, uncontested, would it work for us?
It is not a +skill, or +stat that increases avoidance, but rather a flat percentage that is added to the players avoidance.
I doubt it will work, or it if does it will survive working for classes without a natural chance to riposte, but the question remains does it work that way now since it does add a flat percentage instead of an increase to natural percentage chance?
I'm not even sure I am explaining the difference between the two well enough here, I just know that the adornment adds a straight 2% avoidance to the player using it, atleast the tests and information I has convinced me of this.
I also doubt anyone has tried it to find out, and once my shift ends and I get back to the game monday I'll see if I can either find or blackmail someone into selling a riposte adornment cheap enough to test with.

Ill make it simple so you can understand
Templar
T5
SIngle reactive
Grp Reactive
small heal
big heal
AE heal
glory of combat
Involuntary line
Mark line
redemption line
T6
Reverence
Divine arbritration
Inquis
T5
Single reactive
Grp reactive
small heal
big heal
ae heal
mark line which we dont have anymore
T6
Convert
Anyway you wanna put it templars have always out healed inquisitors and they have more heals spell.
To say we almost healed as good as them in T5 is insane they were the dominant healer of the tier. FFS glory of combat pre nerf could heal beter then 75% of the healers on the server by itself.
Avriodar just remember when you are in your Matrix world...............There is no spoon.

Re: test notes
On all of the T5 raids I attended, GoB did not account for jack on the heal parse. That may have something to do with the nature of content having less AoE activity, or they put it on the wrong people (Which also would not have suprised me). Lotto heals are much more of a heal-parse inflater in EoF than I ever seen them do back in T5 (and t6).
You forgot that we had a auto-regenerating ward attached to one of our group buffs, pretty sure it was our mit buff. It added up. Yes it wouldn't compensate for the lotto components templars got, but helped close that gap. Alas, SOE removed that component of the buff.
You have helped make my point that healing capability was much closer in T5 than it is in T7EOF. In my Matrix world, there is a Spoon, and there is also heal crits and EoF AA's that further impact on the variations of healing capacity. On top of that, there is a KOS AA change that is guiding Inquisitors further toward the sacrifice of healing ability. Shall I spell it all out for you?

Re: test notes
Or EoF AAs don't really do jack shit for our healing ability, which has pissed me off since day one. So SOE has said that the damage output of an Inquisitor is more important that their healing output by the EoF AAs they gave us.
I like the coming changes, especially if I can nail down the exact numbers for avoidance, which I should be able to do later tonight when I am off work and have slept, but really now, why the fuck has our lackluster triage line not been looked into?

Re: test notes
What most ppl seem to forget between templars and inqui are the recast on our 2 straight heals, templars recast on theirs is 1.5 x longer then ours, and on top of our heal we add convert which gives us almost the same heal amount as the templars one. this way if you use those spells alot you can easely outheal templars, which I have done many many times and will do many many times more.

Re: test notes
You guys forget Focused Intercession which means a templar can heal for roughly 1700 a tick for up to 15 charges ( stacking all 3 reactives) while inquis is maxed at 1k worth of reactives.
