test notes
Cleric - Strength 3 - Bolt of Power: Also procs on spells. Interrupt chance is reduced to adjust for the change.
- Strength 4 - Unwavering Resolve: Instead of increasing disruption skill, it increases maximum health by 1% per rank. It still increases Focus.
- Strength 5 - Steadfast: While remaining still, grants interrupt immunity, with a chance at stifle immunity.
- Agility 3 - Battle Fervor: Grants doubleattack of 4% per rank instead of DPS increase. Also increases shield effectiveness by 4% per rank.
- Agility 5 - Holy Shield: Improved reuse speed from 5 minutes to 1m and it now toggles, and casting speed from 2s to 1s. Removed power cost.
- Stamina 3 - Severe Judgement: Reduced melee critical chance from 12.5% to 10% per rank.
- Stamina 5 - Divine Aura: Stoneskin effect now takes into consideration mitigation before determining damage. Improved reuse speed from 15 minutes to 10 minutes.
- Wisdom 4 - Divine Soothing: Renamed "Exorcise" and increases all casting skills instead of hate reduction.
- Wisdom 5 - Protection from Undead: Stoneskin effect now takes into consideration mitigation before determining damage. Improved reuse speed from 10 minutes to 5 minutes.
- Intelligence 2 - Divine Castigation: Reduced damage.

im pissed at losing 100% crits, im mean its still 80% but....that reduces the greatness of several weapons quite a bit. the dps loss is bad as well, although the double attack is nice.
meh im not overly happy on them, feels like a nerf to the melee style to me.

Congratulations SOE.
It must have taken a lot of effort to work out what would be the most stupid and pointless changes, that would do nothing productive for the game, or for EoF raiding clerics.
If I ever apply for a job at SOE, I will put this on my resume, I figure it will get me a job pretty fast :
"I prefer to fuck up fucntional content instead of fixing broken/lacking content"
Sadly, I am not suprised that SOE did this. And not because it is a good change for the sake of balance and gaming experience either. I have no doubt a couple of power leveled, blackscale maul wielding, battle cleric fan boys on PVP servers will be creaming their pants over a couple of changes, but any real inquisitor will be pissed off.

Eh, the changing the DPS mod to Double Attack is good, means I'd actually consider using it, also the changes made to the Strength line proc means I'd consider using it.
Oh wait nevermind, I'd lose Divine Recovery, Heal Crits, Spell Crits, and faster Casting.
So we just lose Melee Crit chance and lose some damage on the int line attack.
I'm actually thinking of testing dropping more melee crit, div rec, and spell haste for double attack to test the double attack. But doubt I'll stay with it.

yeah these changes are useless, they dont do anything overly usefull, and ive woken up pissed off by the crit change

I'm prolly just a newb from a 2nd rate guild, but I see a tactical advantage in having 52% double atk, and a single target ae avoid on a 1 min recast.

Get over the crit loss don't kill the messenger and crit pot will recoop 11% of that.

Any bard who is worth a damn has dktm, and if you consider yourself a melee inquis the double atk will more than make up for any perceived dps loss from melee crits.
