Default Melee Inquisitor nerfed after next LU? Proc INQ to rule supreme?

Someone told me that 100 percent crits will max out at 80 percent actual crits after the next LU.

False? True?

--Not trying to start rumors heard this from a reliable source, kind of concerned about it.

Would this change make Casting Proc Inquisitors the hands down best INQ build, and pretty much nullify battle line?

Oh i just read we gain 32 percent double atk tho....hurm this might be OK.

Though now we are forced to go down agi line to make up the lose....not so good for raiding?

Gain 32% double attack, will have to sacrifice intelligence line or heal crits for the double attack.

You gain the 32% Double Attack in place of the 40% DPS buff. Tack on going from 100% melee crits to 80%. On paper is works out to a 4-7%, depending on weapon, nerf to autoattack damage if you were specced at least 4/4/8 on AGI and STA. I haven't done the math on how much the crit change will affect the combat arts from the EOF AA Battle line, but I figure that'll be a pretty good hit there.

These changes will mostly affect those that are specced for solo/PVP. I predict many respeccing to the cleric cookie cutter standard spec of 4/4/4/8 STA and the rest in INT. The stated reason for all these changes was to make the less used AA lines more popular. I think there will be even less variety among Templars/Inquisitors after this change.

Actually you will be sitting at 81% melee crits, with no crit gear, and 52% double attack without a bard, or illusionist or grim brimstone hammer.

My inquis atleast will be breaking 2k dps after this change. Thats about a 500 DPS increase because of the double attack.

Double attack is the best increase to DPS there is for a melee class, why do you think every other class's double attack was nerfed across the board?

No nerf. It's a buff.

So, is yaulp's double attack still the same and factored into the 52%? ie 20% + 4%/rank?

Yes, yaulp is staying the same 20 haste/dps/double attack then you add the +32% from maxed Agi3 to get to 52%

This number can be increased to 64% with just the grim brimstone hammer.
And 80% with a Stamina spec'd bard and grim brimstone.

81% Melee Crit and 80% double attack with grim brimstone, a shield, and stamina spec'd bard.

Also the change to Str3 is going to be a rather nice boost to the spell cast DPS clerics, Templars and non battle cleric Inquisitors both.

That proc has a rather high damage, very high un-normalized proc chance.

And I have seen comment that some templars atleast(don't ask why in gods name they would) spec out of the Stamina line, or atleast heal crits(wtf?) to gain that proc.
