the shame is that this skill and the summon symbol one both ask the recipient whether that want to accept the item. if it didnt u cud slowly fill ur groups inventory and secure the loot for urself...

but yeah an update wud be good.

My best friend played an SK, way back when we were levelling up, for some reason he respecced in the middle of a dungeon to that spell reflect line that SKs have. He quickly realized that he didn't have a symbol, I quickly jumped up and said "I'm here to save the day! I can summon a symbol!" I began my incantations and conjurations and finally managed to summon up an Unholy Symbol for my brother in arms. And this is the point in my character's career, I began to despise its short comings. The fucking spell says on it, Summon Unholy Symbol, and it summons an Unholy fucking symbol, I mean it has the word symbol in the descriptor. For the damn thing to not to count as a Symbol, was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen in this game.

I guess with this most recent update, it doesn't much matter anymore...

the adept ones ok, and the funky shiny particle thing is funky for lagging out other raids but that aside...eh

Even as a max. level provisioner/priest, I wouldn't mind seeing the Summon Food/Drink abilities buffed because I loathe cooking for my main and my alts. I can't be bothered to do it for strangers for profit, nor for friends and guildmates.

Provisioning doesn't have a high enough profit margin for the time it takes unless you charge "too much" when compared to some other crafts or even killing trash mobs. I'm all for seeing those abilities buffed.

summon food/drink as its now is just a waste of space in yous spellbook, but the problem here is that the spell should not take away market from provisioners.

So there are 2 options in my opinnion:

Dump that spell and replace it with something else more usefull.

or try to make it scale with level while still balancing it with provisioners. it should maybe have about the same regen of vendor food one tier below the caster (or player that its cast for whoever is lower level) no other stats no-trade(to avoid players trading higher tier summoned food to low level players). that should make sure it won't be a real competition for provisioner crafted items, but it still will help a bit in higher level groups when someone is out of food/drink.

I am still all for buffing the summoned food/drink, but if you were to trade it for a new ability what would you pick?
