It really depends on if they let the RElic and Relic 2 affect the next level of spells, which I really hope they do. If not, oh well, but at least I know I'll be happy.

All the set pieces we have today will not affect the new versions of the spells. They are made to affect a specific spell, not a spell line, and you can easily see this for yourself if you look over the previous spells in that line. However, for illusionists, the spell on that BP is a level 70 spell (not the special one), so MAYBE it might still be good next expansion.

True enough, but it doesn't bother me anyways. It's something I've been wanting for a while, and I decided to make my own luck. Everyone in the Illu Channel knows this for the most part.

Another happy customer! This lucky man will have his bp tonight and my guild will each have about 4 plat to buy t8 masters, shinys, and rares. He did in fact make his own luck. This post, his spam of class channels, and telling everyone he knew to lead him to NPU and me. One thing not explained in this post is he was also operating under a tight time constraint. He is a hard charger and a go getter, i respected that, and made room in are schedule to fit him in. Maybe i should start a thread of those selling and those looking to buy set gear. As far as to how these pieces will hold value i am a little miffed. Casting time/recast reduction pieces will take major upgrades in the spell they effect to make using them not viable.
