Quest rewards are supposed to all be equally balanced with each other and the game mechanics are always changing, so there's no reason why swapping quest rewards at any given instant should be restricted at all, let alone prohibited which obviously it currently is.

Agreed. From what I've gotten out of SOE, they want it to be where if you have a level 70 toon, he can be fully changed regardless of previous decisions (Ex. Respecc'ing AA's, Respecc'ing Char Traits) because of the T5 atrocity that forced a lot of lvl 20+ priests to reroll because they picked an incorrect M2 choice. And I agree that it should be this way.

This is just another example of a stupid rule that SOE enforeces that has no reasoning behind on their long list of topics where they are inconsistant.

I mean fuck, if they're worried about manpower to replace each item manually via web request, it'd take less time to replace it and get a satisfied customer than it would to argue about how you cannot replace it using 5-10 different personal and piss people off while doing it.

I read something similar on the official forums today. This dude posted here that a dev him /herself told him that quest rewards wouldn't be changed.

Now, I don't know if it's true or not (the dev bit) but either way, the "policy" is complete and utter bs.

you need to get to Senior GM if you havent done it yet, usually Senior GM's have a clue about whats going on.
And yeah SoE policy, but their GM go fuck all about it and just don what they want depends on their mood.

If it happen like you say then you deserve a change/replacement. If it was ill take this for the disco or ill take this who cares ill just exchange it later like i did with my claymore, then hahahahaha pwned. Will you ever even use it over your staff of unending growth ?

Shady Swashbuckler is very underutilized and should be stocked with all epic quest items. Nobody outside of a small handful gives a flying fuck about discos. NOBODY.

I disco'd Vital Conversion adept 1 on test server. I then had an hour long chips and salsa party.

This rule can't be too well known if all the people who brag about changing their weapon rewards at will are truly doing so. I know one person who claims they can change rewards based on petition any time he wants and judging by the results he's shown, he can. Seems to be who you get and how much of the right wording you use when you speak to them. Stupid rule...
