Look I wont even lie I have tried to change stuff in the past, I mean ridiculous little things. All failed though!

Ballads I didn't take it for the discovery that would be stupid, I took it because it was a mix between healing and dps then it got changed(yes I would use it btw). I just think this is a stupid rule in place, not to mention how this rule seems to be bent all the time!

I wonder how many will petition to get different soulfire weapons with dw changes now live.

When I first picked the Soulfire Gladius, you could dual wield it on test server in either hand. With the changes it is mainhand only, Of course I petitioned it, but because I had already petitioned to get my godking weapon changed with my fury I ran into the same problem as Razieh...

I'm pretty sure I vendored my Mystical Orb of the Healer a long time ago, before I had any understanding of the Invoker version's usefulness for DPS, and I figured I was just screwed. Would be nice to /petition for a Mystical Orb of the Invoker, and I'd be happy to be debited the buyback value of it.

They wouldnt have given you the discovery anyway. This policy must be new because about 2 weeks after SoD came out (finished it within a week of release) I petitioned for the 2h and had no issues other than my adorn on the gladius got eaten up. Although i was not given the discovery for it, so i was the only person with the Soulfire Longsword on Nek for about 2 months or so heh, then Doomjudge "Discod" it, and it was like i never had it at all.

So as far as the disco thing that wouldnt matter, but ya it is fucked that they wont give you the item as it was drastically changed, as it was previously stated id try to find a senior GM to resolve it.

Also how fucking hard is it for them to implement a buyback option on Shady swash, who gives a shit about Heretige quests anyhow, i sell em asap. Epic questline rewards should be a given for a buyback option.

I really know nothing outside of web design in terms of coding, but, can't they just code it so that anything bought from the shady swashie doesn't count towards discos?

It's my opinion that ANY reward from a quest that is legendary or higher should be displayed on the swashie's vendor list.

Same thing here... back when KoS came out I took Planar Orb of the Warrior and sold it. Thx SoE, after 2 weeks of petitions they finally found it and switch it to Planar Orb of the Wanderer (Senior GM did it cause normal GM had no fuckin clue what i was talking about).

Now I'm screwed, Glad i picked soulfire Sabre but I sent a petition after gotten my Sabre cause I wanted to use Gladius until GU38 come on Live Servers.. they said no.. ok I dont care... but that means that for the Quested/Treasured item... I'm screwed of getting any quested item changes EVEN IF SOE CHANGES THE GAME MECHANICS.... GOOD JOB!

Only thing I need to do if I want an item changes is to move my toon to another account... They said once per account =)

Its not only game mechanics the item was completely changed from a damage proc to heal proc! I was petitioning for this way before the BoE changes.
