Adornments placed on the off hand weapon will proc off the that weapon. Whether it is in your offhand or main hand.

so what exactly do they mean by "only primary weapon "? curios really i have seen pox sword proc on my troubs off hand but all ways figured the magic/heat adorn where only main hand..

there's no "only on main weapon" on the proc info anymore.
looking at the item in game now
"on sucessful attack this spell has a chance to cast XXXX on target of attack. this effect will trigger an average of X times per minute."

this is waht im talking about says only "only primary weapon" maybe it does anyway.. but thats whay i was basing my post on..

It means that procs attached to armor will not trigger off of offhand attacks. Conversely, procs attached to a weapon placed in the offhand will not trigger off of mainhand attacks. That message simply states that only a single hand can be triggering any given proc.

Edit: There may be cases that do not follow these rules. They may have been created specially, or may be bugs. If you point them out, I'll take a look =)
