Will KoS be phased out with xpac release?

I think no. Yes there will be upgrades in EoF obviously BUT how many raid zones are they adding? like 3 4? can any of you raiders honestly say that ammount of content will keep you busy?

thats why i think KoS wont be phased out and alot of KoS gear will still be on par with EoF I think mainly what EoF will have is the few upgrades and variances, and with things like the 'complete set bonus' armors of course but i think mainly it will be augments used to gear out and upgrade armor.

Another reason i think it wont phase out is because no level cap increase.. i mean duh... like i said before will 4 new zones keep you busy? i mean honestly will they?

anyway i know the NDA isnt lifted yet and in the end its pointless for me to care becasue ive quit EQ2 but just thought it was a good subject to bring up!

so anyone got some info that proves me wrong or have a good reason why they would phase out KoS?

It's not about keeping busy, it's about where the best gear comes from. Why do KoS if all the eof gear is better?

KoS fabled is still better than EoF legendary, so I'm sure a lot of people are going to be continuing raiding KoS after release as it will make raiding EoF easier. Also, there is supposed to be a main focus on contested in EoF over raid instances, but we'll see how that pans out.

I will say this... it would be abundantly fucking stupid to obsolete a zone for anything but the gentle item progression slope. People want a large menu of raids to pick and choose from, not be stuck for all intents and purposes with the shaky 2 or 3 that come with a new tier or x-pack.

People say that bad raid loot in EoF will destroy the game. Guess what. Excessively inflated raid loot in EoF will destroy the game just as quickly.

I wouldn't assume that much, with EoF adding item sets, EoF Legendary (sets) will be better than KoS Fabled.

Some kos legendary is better than kos fabled, game has no progression and I doubt it will start with eof. Here's a few facts about eof (1).itemization will be fucked up (2).1 will always be true

Pretty much every serious raider had full KoS fabled months ago, why would they carry on raiding it?
