New Avatar Loot in RoK

Ok this question may be old, but I'm trying to find the original post, or updated information.

I have heard, but not read, that when avatars scale up in ROK that they are going to either have A) Upgraded versions of teh exact same pieces they drop now, or B) all new loot, that may or may not resemble the current loot.

I have also heard that whatever loot you have from avatars now, will never drop again ever after ROK releases... is this true? Can anyone link me to a post from a dev about this?

I've heard similar things, not sure if anything is "official" yet though.

It's about time they started scaling some content when they up the level cap though, lets see if it's done "right".

I can't find that post either, im sure Aeralik said it's all new loot for level 80's (Not scaled or copied) and also current loot wont drop anymore. I.e No more Resplendent Robe of Battles in RoK.

My big question is, will there be similar loot... IE Resplendant Chain Tunic of Battle... Similar item, but chain version for scouts.... or Reinforced Sabatons of Balance.. PLate version of teh leather boots... etc. Knowing that know might impact how the last few pieces of current avatar loot gets distributed.

AHHH took me a while to find it, but this is the only official statement on the ROK Avatar loot... the rest is speculation and what people heard from Fan Faire. As far as I remember, no other dev directly posted on these forums about it.

No, current avatar loot will not be scaled upward. I'm not sure where that idea came from. The strengthened avatars will come well equipped with new toys. =)

dude that makes to much sence....u realy think soe would do that?

how about adding some shammy loot to the loot table.....ooh wait...that would make to much sence also
