<dresses up like a chanter> You can't have my class defining role put on an item unless it comes with the flag "does not effect epics"

Omg. I remember hearing about it and thought "Nah, that can't be." Then I cast the two spells, died, and laughed so hard. Always made Eye farming a little more exciting.

I seem to remember the first version (or was it the second?) of the level 50 berserker spell did this. And for a short while berserkers could solo the t5 epics (e.g. the end game raid mobs), or so I remember.

I did this numerous times as I was still playing my warlock at that time. The wizards ice proc and Precision would also proc as the debuff would spread. So any ae fight warlocks would demolish. Even with the old 48% amends from a paladin I would get aggro and die.

watching a t5 berserker solo his way to darathar was probably the best thing i've seen.

i remember that spell combo. only used it effectively 2 times before the spell got changed. both times i ran outta power in < 10s. (each proc from the self buff takes a tiny bit of power)
good times.
