Phantom handle adorn power regen proc not showing up in logs

i was soloing in kaladim yesterday on my paladin and was going through the combat spam looking for what damage certain mobs were doing so i could solo them better when i noticed something rather interesting. the phantom handle adorn (legendary) wasn't showing the actual power replaced when it procs in logs at all. the power drained from the mob was right there but i couldnt find the power replaced at all. anyone else notice this or is it just me? and if it isnt just me this needs to get looked at. every power proc should show up in logs just the same as damage should, or we have no way of knowing if the item is really doing what it should or not.

Of it works like chilling inquest, power replaced is considered a heal. That might be why, but then again it should show up regardless unless its something that was never truly implemented correctly.

This is just something they need to add to the logs. Add Power Heals to the logging capability.

yea really. once i get my illu up to level im going to be crunching stats on proc rate of power procs and just how much power they are actually healing for me and if you cant log this fact im gonna be mad. also, i noticed that the power drain was actually critting, something that i didnt know/think was part of game mechanics. so in theory wouldnt my power heal proc crit as well? i have no way of telling if the adorn, or any other item which has a similar effect (see voluminous cape) is working as intended

yeah I hate this, theyve never shown power gains. I would love if they did so I could see just how much power i'm getting from the Sage cloak proc.

That's not hard to calculate, since it's a flat value when it procs. Just look at how many times it proc'd, since it also has a power drain component to it.

The amount of the power drain component is different on every proc trigger in my logs, not a flat value. The power drain also can be a critical hit so I figured the power gain component can crit and so would not be a flat value either.

despite the fact that the proc does more damage, it doesn't mean the heal will heal for more. a good example is the absolve vitae proc from soulfire weapons. the proc will always be the same, unless it crits or there is nothing to heal. (will also heal you to max, which will show the proc as less than usual value)

you sure about that lyasa? i have 2 items that proc lifetap on my paladin, and 2 phantom handles on my monk. if one crits, so does the other, and the heal portion works off your spell crit the same way SK lifetaps do, which means that i see my pally procing crit heals quite often, since the OOB ring procs like mad and i get a nice bit of dps out of my misty protector

Same, I play an SK and any spell component that crits, the heal component crits. Thats why I want to see the real value of the sage cloak, to see which mechanic it uses. The power drain crits so the heal/gain component should crit as well.
