Missing: Brawler gear with uncontested avoidance boosts akin to +block of shield wielders.

Missing: Mitigation jewelry that brawlers rely on in the absence of more uncontested avoidance. Things are gonna be screwy if our effective mitigation actually drops from t7 to t8....

Remember rangers in T6, troubs in early T7, etc etc etc? The proc dps problem keeps rearing its ugly head and the devs keep trying to swat it back down, and today the focus is enchanters.

Umm, there are items in the expansion with procs, some very nice ones. Not sure what you guys are bitching about. A offhand/ranged item with 600+ mental proc and a easily quested 2hand staff with 4% crits, +25 spell dmg and a 1k+ poison proc. Just to mention the few I ran into in two days of doing the instances.

Lol, so much for their declaration that BoE was going to replace procs....Spell damage + procs, the person in charge of items plays an enchanter i take it? Or maybe not every dev caters to their own class exclusively....

I haven't seen enough of the itemization to say myself, but has anyone seen much + CA damage (There's plenty of +spell, but what about +CA?). I know everyone got one +CA pasted onto their set armor, but beyond this is there any +CA damage in say the heroic loot tables, or other fabled loots?

I do not play an enchanter, though it is good to see people on both sides of the fence with this issue. It means I've done a fair job of balancing things ;)
As was stated previously in this thread, I did cut down quite heavily on the use of damage procs, so you'll find quite a few less of those on treasured and legendary loot in Kunark. This has been compensated for with other stats and effects.

We received the code for +CA damage a bit late in the cycle (well after I'd statted out most of the items), so you're initially going to see much less of it than +spell damage. But fear not; I did go back and change a number of items to use CA damage, and will certainly use it in future itemization.
