Default Trooper Scale Boots

The proc from this item is called Adrenaline Rage. It lasts for 15 seconds and will allow the caster to double attack on 5 percent of ranged attacks and 10 percent of melee attacks. At this current time it does not stack with the proc from the Ring of Tunarian Might, Adrenaline Boost. I would like to know if this was intended not to stack or if it was simply an oversight. I bugged it a few days ago with no response thus far.

Both procs can be up at the same time however the effect of each does not stack.

Having two procs as good as they are able to work with one another and keep it maintained a little better sounds reasonable if its working as intended IMO, but if its a bug then grats melee.

I think the bigger issue with the boots is the discrimination of ranged vs melee DA =(

thats the thing, we swing slower so that should be buffer between the dmg. You swing 2 4.0 sec delay weapons, probably 6 times while thats up compared to maybe 3 for our bow. should be 10% for both.

when was the last time those 2 4.0 delay weapons used ammo that gave a 20-30% hit boost percentage? Also, when was the last time they had the proc rate of a 9 second weapon?

your point?? none of that stuff you mentioned is really related to the Double Attack difference on boots.
The hit bonus is there on ammo because of the 9 second delay, a miss with a bow is a lot more devastating to dps than DWs. Plus it costs a lot of rangers a lot of money.

A 4.0 weap has plenty of proc chance as it is, plus you get at least 2x as many procs to use.

Having it be 10% for both wouldnt over power us, but having melee with 10 and us having 5 they get the advantage, again..

Procs only proc off primary, ( unless specified otherwise ) and if you said that referring to double attack then it's still wrong because you would need 100% double attack to get 2x the proc %'s

But , do those boots even proc off ranged?

I assume so, because well it would be pointless to put a ranged buff that can only go off during melee lol, but it is soe /sigh.
