Why is 10% bugged. Its what is on the earing. Tell why when something works like it is described its bugged?

You guys just keep on talking, lets see what else we can get nerfed.

It's not bugged. It works exactly as it says it does.

The effect Dispersion lasts 5 minutes or until you are hit next by any type of attack (stone skin triggers) which is when it terminates. You get power.

While this is a pretty cool item, it does not need to be fixed, it doesn't break the game, it gives mages and other classes some survivability against some of the harder solo content.

10% is bugged because it equates to just about as much as a templar stoneskin is.

And yes, I will make it my personal quest to make sure everything that causes a game balance issue is brought up and discussed. This item may break/trivialize end game encounters. This is like saying "Lets get our percentage up so fucking high that it doesn't matter how many healers the MT has, because stone skin is going to be on him 90% of the time anyway."

If your afraid of a nerf, then its usually a NOT intended mechanic.

To make the game better for everyone who plays, not just the small % that finds out and exploits an item.

.... Also, wtf is up with the comment

Are you seriously trying to state that its not a bug because you can see the value on the earring? I'm not going to touch that particular comment.

The value may not be bugged, but its up to us to do the right thing and bring up shit that will break late game for everyone.

Then it should be mage only, not for tank use. Then i'd agree with the %.

My main bitch is about tanks and to a lesser extent scouts. Thats where this item will be overpowered.

I dont see how this item is overpowered, apart maybe for tanks (talking about raiding here). But for example for mage it's not overpowered at all, since mobs can kill me with it or without, and it's all about luck if this earring saves your ass sometimes.

I agree Fomka, tank usage is overpowered.

I think that was their idea.
I've got two of these items, and could get a third, one is the earring and the other a mage only belt, if they want these to not be so broke then unfortunately have to limit the classes that can use them.

Sorry tanks :\

The earring alone dosent proc that much (per min) when you factor in avoidance. I've gone 3-4 fights and havent seen it proc once vs yellow conned ^ solo's as a guardian.

Would that change vs an epic with their to-hit bonus? Probably. However unless anyone can tell me the earring is currently end-game then nothing said here matters anyways. If its replaced with better earring later on then theres no problem as it is now.

Seriously, have you actually played in the new expansion? Do you know that mobs hit harder now? :P

This is not a broken item, mobs will still hit hard... Tanks will still die... the templar's stone skin will trigger the exact same time dispersion triggers and the stone skin and will be wasted...

Sure having a 12% chance and another 15% chance for an attack to be absorbed sounds "omg game breaking" but I think you've over valued this item with the difference in mobs in this expansion.
