Re: To easy to attain
...
A), I've already raided as much content as you have
B) You're retarded
C) Your post above shows how you're retarded... suggesting that they should inflate gear so that they can match inflated raidmobs instead of making the gear an improvement without forcing things to skyrocket is a seriously retarded idea. I am glad you are not on the Fed.
D) You're retarded.
Even more hugs and kisses,
Mendanbar - I, Swashbuckler.
Edit:
I should add, raided as much content as you have, but without forcing my guild to defend my suck-ass dps on eq2flames threads making fun of me like you have. Have a nice day.

Re: To easy to attain
Congrats, Zerkers can post 5k posts in the right zones on a single fight and they're not even dps.
Though, neither are you, and your zw's blow from anything I've ever read about you on this site.
I'm done with this back and forth for now, but...

Saleen if you think that is bad. Take a peek at the NPC in Teren's Grasp who sells legendary items if you have 50,000 faction with Teren's Grasp and you have the plat for it. Just thought you'd like to know.

Enter through the narrow gate, for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many. How narrow the gate and constricted the road that leads to life. And those who find it are few.

Re: To easy to attain
Maiden's Chamber is way too easy. I think it's meant to be the Nizara of RoK but it's no harder than OOB. Mind you I can see a pickup group trying Drusilla being an exercise in frustration, although I'm sure she'll be nerfed when enough people whine.
Lower Sebilis was also worryingly easy for 86^^^ mobs, but then there's jack all nameds and loot down there apparently so I guess that might be considered balance :/ The myconid cave in particular was the single biggest letdown of the expansion for me. In EQ1 there was a little castle and everything - in EQ2 it's a cave full of trash. I know EQ2 is designed to be easymode EQ1, but it was really disappointing seeing Sebilis (which I remember as being downright scary) watered down so much. Maybe it's the lack of a death penalty but you just didn't clear EQ1 Sebilis on your first few visits. Not so with EQ2...

Re: To easy to attain
Not to burst your bubble, but that 'little' castle really was tiny, and hardly a real big deal. The entire Myconid cave in EQ1 was a cave of trash too, there was 1 named that rarely spawned.. thats it.
I mean I loved Sebilis in EQ1, but the Myconid area wasn't exactly the best part.

And honestly, making masters only available to raiders would lead to a situation on the PvP servers where people were forced to raid to have a chance to compete - which again would lead to everyone being inside raiding instances during prime time and far less PvP activity in general. Are you still sure you want this?

Good point. Leave masters. They still should fix the Tags on items though. No need to change the items, just the tags

Re: To easy to attain
yep, the tags on items are messed up, maybe it would actually be the best to just remove them all together.

Re: To easy to attain
I just hope we don't get another grizzlefazzle type of item from quests. IE, an item where stepping stones went as followed. Grizzlefazzle --> wand of crystal plasma --> staff of light. lmao, should have been some middleground.

Re: To easy to attain
I don't get it really, why do people think that the Fabled tag should be raid only? Isn't a raid an instance for 24 well geared people that never changes and you can die numerous times over and continually be rez'd and repaired and keep going? If you wanted something to mean it's really an accomplishment, why not put a no-rez tag on the raid instance, and give it a 20 hour lockout? Then to really prove your uberness you'd have to beat the raid the first time, basically with nobody dying or be good enough to do it with less than 24 people. I'd be pretty impressed with that in all honesty.
But raiding is just a larger version of grouping, and it takes more money to repair and more time to complete, but is it really any "harder" than a similar dungeon tailored for 6 people instead of 24? It could be ... and then again it could be less hard as well. So, why do some posters think that having more people required should equal fabled?
Additionally, it's just a tag ... I think most raiders want the best gear, even if it's called Junk-O-Tha-Day ... if it procs a 1 minute AoE stifle for 50 meters 25% of the time ... it's gonna be unbelievably uber, and regardless of the tag, everyone will drool over it.
I dunno, not everyone raids and I think the non-raiders should be able to get some good stuff too, and if it makes someone happy to be decked out in "fabled" that isn't as good as the best raid gear ... I don't really see the harm in that.
