What was the idea when 4+ treasured items were put into the game with this same, stackable proc?

Seeing druids get 20%+ of their total zonewide heals from a treasured item is pretty much the dumbest thing ive seen so far in this game, IMO, they need to either lessen the proc chance and heal amount on these items to make them fit into some sort of item progression, or they need to move it onto harder to obtain loot.

Now I realize, there was already an item in game just like this, the Mystical Orb of the healer, but when you have 6+ items able to proc a group heal for 400 at once, that is 36 possible procs on casting a group heal. . . .

enough with all the OMG this is too uber 4 treasured posts... EOF brought an itemization breakthrough and thats just how its translating into a whole new level inc expansion. There is a good chance these items will all look like crap after going through most raids so whats the point?

maybe raids in ROK will call for extra healing like this? or maybe it sucks in comparison to fabled gear? too early to tell imo, so be happy there is good stuff and hope better is yet to come, jeez.

It is not just druids, they are leather and every healer can wear them. The other 4 pieces that I have found with this proc are 2 earrings a wrist and a cape that can be worn by all healers as well. Just because something is leather does not mean it is druid only, it means that any healer can wear it.

Or maybe it doesn't suck in comparison to fabled gear and is better than the fabled gear you will probably end up getting from raids. At least in comparison to the trash set gear that exists(which is trash, and supposedly the majority of the armor that will be dropping).

On this I agree with Pinski. Having seen quite a few drops from raid zones in beta I am not impressed - some items from EoF raid zones, and a lot of items from simple RoK solo quests, appear to beat what you can expect to loot from the t1 and t2 RoK raid zones. Of course this was beta, but I don't expect it has changed much.

Sure, Clerics and Shaman will see 5% at absolute tops from these items, which is still very high for treasured, but they won't take as much advantage of this because of obvious reasons. My point wasn't to bitch about druids, but to show how overpowered these items are
