It reminds me of Windows/DOS in the early days, when things like network access and graphics libraries were expensive add-ons, until Microsoft saved the day by saying Fuck You to the fighting gremlins and just integrated the shit mainstream.

Admitting they did something wrong and backpeddling?

OR has my work filter just effed up the page and link?

Tried to look at the fireplace and the other link and got a blank page with
"What? You need to specify an item... "

I did want to know what the fireplace looked like

No, those items have been cleaned up. There are still other invisible items in the database that I won't link, because they amuse me and I don't want them to disappear.

I think most of us don't see a way this information could have been obtained ethically, but anything here is nothing more than rumor and supposition unless someone from Zam or SOE confirms either way.

Nobody uses Allakhazam for items anyway I think. If I want to see an item I will find it on LootDB or EQ2LLinks.

Wow, and SoE gonna eat it like that?

If they really mined the paid eq2players db, that's gonna cost them through legal action...

Oh well, back to my LootDB cave, got tons of stuff to clean up...

P.S. With 1000+ LootDB contributors, there are about 75000 items that were submitted from all over Norrath.. There should be like 10% more items, but nowhere 90k..
