Well, the quest part that need to put 3 rod on 3 island in 5 minutes is BUG.

I had use the first rod on Fear Tainted Isle, then tried on gazer (can't use it there), then put the rod on bixie.

I had done different things, like switching orders. Trying the gazer rod on another island. I had put the left over rod on Ravasect Island. And the rod was working on it, but no update.

Anyone who knows that issues that can give a work around?

Those kind of bugs can be resolve through a server reset?

I will leave the stupid generic answer of SoE customer support here.

Customer ()01/13/2008 11:28 AM On the part where we need to put 3 rod on 3 differents island with a 6 min timer, where I am on the gazle isle, the rod cannot be used. But I need to put the rod on that island, but I cant use it.

PErhaps gazer is not gazer anymore on the rod or on the island.

I restart it 3 times, and everytime it did the same thing to me.

The 2 others rod have been used without prob on the bixie and fear tainted island.

Drop the first staff as soon as you get it, then fly to the furtherest island next, then come back and do the second island last.

Fear Tainted, then Bixie, last is Gazer.


The last one on Gazer will appear blacked out, but just use it anyway.

in my experiences, it worked in any spot that cause the title of the island to flash on the screen (like when you get disco)
