Well, switched it in main hand tonight and everything seems fine now ;/, nothing wrong with 'back breaker' (throatripper) in offhand either.

Edit: can any of the other people who have it confirm that it sucks in offhand? I would really hate to like get the epic or whatever and not be able to use it in main hand.

All wpns suck in off hand compared to mainhand....simple reason is you swing 3 times with main hand an 1 time with off hand per attack round ..so its 1/3rd the chance to proc, as a mainhand weapon. which is why when you swapped them over you seen a huge increase in procs. unless they changed mechanic's recently and i missed it ...in which case ignore my post.

Edit to clarify what i meant. is swing ratio / proc mechanic ratio you get 1 proc off, off hand.

What the fuck are you talking about? Everything you just said is completely fucking wrong.

Here's the reason why weapons in your offhand don't proc as often as in your mainhand:
Because CAs proc only your mainhand weapon!

There is no delay, there is no penalty to a weapon or its proc-rate because it is in your offhand. The only thing is, it doesn't proc off CAs!

Hows the main hand hitting 3 times more?

And there seems to be more then that to it with dot procs as you can see on my first post with ticks getting canceled somehow on top of an extremely crippled proc rate. Other weapons with regular procs are doing just fine.

Ill go beat on a generator in VP and do some more testing.

On top of what penski said, offhand procs its own procs, but that shouldnt effect procs in any way.

my bad im sure id seen it posted numerous time on old boards that off hand was 1/3 rd mainhand proc rate. seems to me it is anyway ...last v peak run my sod proc was 150 offhand to my vamp handle 500proc mainhand. so its not reduced not lessened but its still roughly going of my own parses 1/3 rd the amount of procs as the mainhand.
/shrug im sure ill get some more pinski loving, hes always had a way of explaining my errors so politley to me.

The proc rate should be relatively unchanged, as proc rates are based on the base delay of the weapons. However DW does increase the actual delay of your weapons, so they DO swing slower. Proc rate however is unchanged. Mainhand though is the only one that procs from CAs and causes all other procs not attached to the offhand weapon. At least that last part is how it was explained to me.
