The sentence makes no sense, maybe you should learn to write.

Personally I love the new item. Both rewards are now equally desirable to 2 archtypes.

Haste/Crit for Fighter/Scout
Power Proc for Priest/Mage

As for the previous item, no scout in his right mind would have a second thought about equipping it. SoE strives to achieve balance and more often then not fail miserably. Personally I think they made a good choice on this one. The Dreadscale Greeves however, are another story.

I don't have the old or the new item but it looked to me like an upgrade. Unless you got this item primarily as a soloer, I guess, and even then. There's a serious lack of haste items in T8, and a haste item with tank stats and melee crits is a huge bonus, I'd think. I guess it surprised me that people saw this as a nerf when to me it was a pretty major upgrade to an otherwise rather "blah" belt with a ward proc that probably didn't hardly amount to anything worthwhile on any healing parse.

QFE, that is hilarious.

Can anyone describe the original proc on this belt please?

Original was like a 4-6% cant remember which to proc a 300point ward(have you guys been hit in RoK) 300 points isnt a big deal at all. 2 melee crit and 28 haste is pretty sick.

This post had less to do with the new item stats, than the policy in place of SoE grandfathering in some items, and not others. I wanted the belt for a tanking piece, I have other haste items and the belt was more valuable to me with its ward effect at 10% chance, than as a haste item. For scouts great, but I received it, and adorned it with the understanding that it was a ward belt. The item being changed, is what I'm bringing into question and their logic behind the Ancient Dreadscal Greeves/Baldrik of the Di'zok Warlord.

Lol, the new Baldrik of the Di'zok Warlord is so much better now than with it's tiny ward. Gonna have to disagree with this change being a "nerf".

Although I do agree that it's pretty dumb of SOE to not do a global replace on all versions of the belt currently in the game.
