Ancient Dreadscale Greeves Vs. Baldrik of the Di'zok Warlord
Interesting, so I see that SoE thought it a smart idea to not change the stats on Ancient Dreadscale Greeves, and allow those who received the item "pre-nerf" to maintain their original item because of what I can only guess to be the inherent investment some individuals put into acquiring the item. However, they chose to nerf the Baldrik of the Di'zok Warlord (warrior ward belt) in this last LU to remove its ward effect and replace it with haste and 2 melee crit and NOT allow those who acquired the item pre-nerf to maintain their original item, effects intact.
I can't help but draw a connection between these two items, and what SoE has done with them. One of the two courses of action then is fundamentally flawed and in need of correction.
I present two options to SoE in order to maintain any sense of balance in regards to the changes made to these two items.
1. SoE needs to nerf the Dreadscale Greeves so that warriors can no longer wear it who received it pre-nerf.
2. SoE needs to un-nerf the Baldrik of the Di'zok Warlord for those who acquired it before the changes.
[Keep in mind, if SoE wants to maintain having an item to help Crusaders tank, they can always introduce a new item, and just nerf Dreadscale Greeves to no longer having an effect]
