Did I say it was a piece of shit? No I didn't, I said it wasn't as good as it should be, none of them are.

Tell me how it "owns" the shit of of everything?

It's stats are mediocre like the rest of the epics are, and as I said, it's proc IS NICE....BUT, 9% chance is lower than it should be, and they nerfed propagations, so it shall remain 9% chance.

I've read enough of your posts to expect this from you, but if you're going to dismiss what I said in such a pathetic manner atleast elaborate.

You cannot deny that they are not as good as they should be. Even if the Warlock epic really is objectively better than all of the other epics, that doesn't change that fact that everyone else still got fucked, and they aren't as good as they should be.

I wasn't crying poor me, I'm not happy, but I'm not furious. It is the principle of the matter.

Edit: Forgot to add, the point of my post wasn't to lament the poor Warlocks who got "shafted". My post was to agree with the OP saying that regardless of where the various epics place on this bad meter, they aren't as good as they should be.

Not all of the epics have been obtained yet, and I doubt you looked at them all, and then there was a world wide vote saying that the Warlock one "owns the shit out of everything", so don't make retarded fucking comments like that, because it is your opinion at best, and cannot be backed up.

And it doesn't matter anyhow, because as I said, EVEN IF it IS better than ALL of the others (not just yours mr apparently envious Wizard) it isn't as good as it should be.

That's the point, try to rememebr that is the point? Not throwing rocks because to you, my class epic is better than yours.

4% crit + AE damage proc + AE threat position drop is pretty much the shit. It give a large amount of damage and goes towards adressing the agro problem.

And you do realize 9% = 1.8 times a minute? IE the standard proc rate...

This thread is fucking retarded. Be glad that SOE put in a group version of the Epic for EQ2, that is not how it was in EQ1. Right now you are looking at a watered down version (group version) of the true epics that haven't been disco'd yet. Some are pretty nice, some are blah. However for non-raiders they are overall better than what they will get not raiding. Now once the true epics are disco'd and we see what those are, than if some of them are still gimp that is the time to complain because those weapons are supposed to be the best of the best for class weps.

Until than, stfu, enjoy the 2 day quest, get your epic, and if it is useful for you grats, if not wait till you get the raid version.

It's amazing with what's going on with Wizards Epic, VP changes, Broken Epics for Ranger/Brigand, Melee Mechanics, etc. that anyone has any faith in SOE to do what the "raider's opinion" would be with anything any more.

I guess it's the fabled tag on these items that made me expect more out of them. If they had been tagged as legendary then maybe I would not have had such a high level of dissatisfaction with many of them. The bruiser epic really drives me crazy. It's moderatley low damage compared to other fabled, and has a hate proc, on a crushing weapon (which is dumb, considering brawlers tend to use slashing over crushing, due to the Riposte adornments that can go on slashers.)

The illusionist is by FAR the worst Piece of shit I've ever seen. I bet the guy who designed that saw that an illusionist in his raid was low on power... say... around 30%, and figured illusionists needed more power items or something.

Ranger epic is ratarded as well. Hey you can save an arrow 1.8 times per minute! wow!!!!! I honestly hope the raid versions of these weapons are COMPLETELY different, not just upgrades. Because upgrading a stupid proc, just makes an even stupidddder proc.

The ranger bow has no minimum range iirc and that is pretty amazing.

As for these, tag doesn't mean shit. They're a heroic quest that can be done in ~10 hours. If anything they're amazing for the effort required to get them.

The raid ones will be the end all, be all - not these.

from a dev point of view, i understand why they didn't put a Legendary tag on the heroic versions. they are of trans-fabled quality, and players would cry if they saw a Legendary tag on their "epic" weapons.

and conversely, from a player's (specifically a raider's) point of view, i wish they'd have just sucked it up and left it as Legendary tag. trying to explain to 37,000 idiots over the next 6 months why their [heroic] "epic" weapon isnt much better than the loot they're pulling out of instances is going to be disheartening.

As cool as I think the Bruiser epic looks, it's a sad comparison to the t7 Grim Brimstone Hammer. Loss of crit ratio, loss of double attack.. it's pretty sad actually. Maybe they should have just tagged the group epics as legendary, or prevent comparing other fabled items.
