Neither are pallies.
I hadn't played in 2 months but I logged on once they put the epics because epics were the main reason I bought RoK so I had to see what they were like and do the quest on a toon or two if they were good.
I feel EQ2 has too many classes based on the fact theres 5-6 classes that aren't really useful in high end raiding and do not have proper itemization. It's the worst when your favorite class is one of those that have poor itemization and has a stigma. No MMO should have unbalanced classes.
I am disgusted by the sk epic (is my fav class at the moment), especially compared to the guardians. I got the sk group version but once I saw the mythical version I've decided to not re-sub when my account runs out in 12 days. I hoped with the epics they would give me some faith to continue playing. I was wrong...I don't wanna do all the boring rok quests over again on one of my alts neither so is not an option at this point. It was boring doing them all the first time. I also found the heroic zones uninspiring and the rok raids i've done have also been kinda boring and the raid loot has sucked. So I really have no reason to continue playing at this point when I am no longer having fun and it's lost its appeal. I liked EQ2 but ROK as a whole, the epics and some other events that have happened recently with EQ2 has been a letdown. I also feel this game is going to change for the worst with the new producer.
I'll keep an eye on EQ2 in the future, maybe the next expansion will have all the things I look for as a player and fixes all the outstanding issues that drive me away from this game but I doubt it.
