Greetings all, to the best Shadow Knight shiny hunter in existence. I'm sorry, but I have to give myself this credit for doing a fine job in lieu of creating a brawler class character to do this.

Before I begin, I must also mention that blue Kunark collections are now LORE items - therefore, it's very easy to complete a collection. The only problem is that if you try to pick up a shiny you already have, a message will pop up, reading, "Nothing Found." Then, try again until you pick up something you don't have.

For effective non-brawler shiny hunting, here are some items and skills that help immensely (all of which are usable by Shadow Knights, hence my mentioning of them):

Items:
1) The obvious - invisibility totems (Get both Jaguar and Chameleon, as they are on separate timers) ~ if you're a class that can camouflage or invis, more power to you.

2) Bottle of Ether (drop from in Unrest, if I'm not mistaken) ~ if you're not an uber enchanter class, this mezzes the target for 45 seconds. Quite handy.

Skills:
1) A feign death is practically a necessity.

2) Divine Aura, or some other damage immunity (throw this up if too much aggro jumps on you - you can still pick up the collections while your ward soaks the damage)

3) Evac - for the quick exit in worst-case scenarios, unless you don't mind dying.

Also, a handy tool for gaining those coveted collections: Become friends with a brawler who's willing to get them for you.

Chapter 2: Locations

Kylong Plains : Run back and forth between the areas near the entrance to Chardok and the Jarsath Wastes zone. A blue collection pops in both places.

Fens of Nathsar : Blue shinies appear along the coast of Lake of Ill Omen (near all the Yha-lei bastages) and several spawns in the Nurgan mines.

Jarsath Wastes : I found 2 main locations - Crater near Venril's Crown and the Yha-lei area near the shoreline by Chelsith..mostly up on the crags.

Kunzar Jungle : Only City of Mist, from what I've seen thus far. Get a group, or hope your feign works - you may need to employ the "invulnerability" or "mesmerization" techniques to get these solo. Or...follow a group in, if they're okay with it. In CoM, I saw them up the first ramp on the porch to the first building you see. Also, along the ledges that the constructs frequent, you'll generally see them. There's also one in the small building that houses the black reaver golem (I think that's its name). Also, on your far left as you enter City of Mist, the building there houses a shiny. They're all over; it's just a matter of getting to them that gets difficult.

Sebilis : Decent collection - good item for a collection that I found very easy to complete. Go to lower Sebilis and swim down to the ruins. There will be a pool area when you reach the bottom - take this underwater tunnel as far east as you can...then head up. Blue shinies pop in this area every 7 minutes or so...and they're pretty accessible. I will warn you that this is where Nihilist Zeegarn pops (he sees through invis), so beware. Approximate location: -68, -131, 146.

Regrettably, I have seen no blue shinies in Timorous Deep....nor have I been able to access the part of Chardok which holds the blue shinies. I'm a soloer and I suck at friendship.

When I finally convince 5 people that SK's don't suck, I'll get the Chardok collections and update this. I think someone else somewhere mentioned a general location.

Chardok ones spawn on the way to the library. They start out in the large hall with the first batch of golems and continue right down into it. They're fairly prolific as far as blue shiny's go. I managed to get a complete set down there in about 2 hours.

The LORE tag has ruined the idea that one part is rare. It's now stupid easy to get a full collection. Find 7 blue shinnies and you have a full set. RoK devs do one stupid thing after the other.

Yes you can, lore means you can only have one, doesn't mean that they are no drop. It also means that if you have every part of the set except for the rare, you can hit the same node over and over untill it gives you the rare one, so you can just go grab a rare off the first node you see anytime you need one. Although they are fixing that part at least, so the rares will again be rare.

I can elaborate a little more on locations, there should be 5 per zone but I'll list the ones I usually hit up:

KP
1 - outside JW zone, can spawn near either tower
2 - outside Chardok zone, one on each side of the road

Fens
1 - on beach near fishbastards
2 - deep in Nurga, random spawn locations, typically in those dead end locations.
1 - Field of Bone, near the dragon skeleton

KJ
1 - top of the ramp, can spawn in the first building
1 - near the Black Reaver
1 - top middle section
1 - up top, north west section, can spawn on top where the jade golems are
1 - up top, south west section, mostly spawns behind the building or by the jade golems

JW
2 - at fishbastards, one on beach, one up top around the crater
1 - Howling Stones, typically towards the bottom
1 - crater at Venril's Crown
1 - Dracnid cave in Skyfire

Sebilis
1 - water ways in the bottom, can spawn in any of those rooms with the water entrance or in the water
1 - the room right before the frog caves, this spawn sucks, dont usually get this one due to high concentration of mobs
1 - can spawn in the mushroom room, the dog room or the hallway inbetween
1 - first frog cave after the previously mentioned rooms
1 - second frog cave, this is the one before VS zone room

Chardok
1 - the ring walkway before Drelikis
1 - the courtyard in front of the palace or in the first hallway
1 - the second or third room in the palace

That's the way I do it now. I have the six non rares permanently in my bag. After I sold all 3 rares on my 3 selling alts I go to chardok and the first shinnie I find is a new rare. I pass it to my alt, repeat two more times and still make a good amount of money. The difference to the previous situation is that I save a lot of time. Nice job devs. It's true that technically there are no more rares but most players haven't realized this and still pay high prices for the "rare".

Can anyone who posted the Chardok locations give more detail, please? I'm not that familiar with Chardok. What gates do I need to pass to get to the blue shinies there?
