Does the return of Mythical loot (epics) mean we can expect a Mythical item to drop from Trak/Tang (and future lore based kills) on each server first kill like Matron in the past? I mean, Matron did not have a shred of the lore around him that Trak and Tang do. Anyone who played EQ at the release of Kunark remember these mobs fondly.

I thought that was a pretty cool idea, but found myself disappointed as EoF mobs dropped and nothing. I'd like to see it back in game personally.

Also, fix the spelling on the serverwide messages. "Mytical" implies SOE has no spellcheck or QA function built in...

They fixed it in the patch yesterday, and removed lastname's from being shown as well.(the dumb text).

As for whether they plan on having more Mythical Items, I would hope so. I'd also hope Avatar's Uniques are Mythical as well.

Didn't most the major mythicals come from Adventure packs? The bloodline had some, obviously matron and cheldraks mythicals. Then again it was brand new of SoE to give mythicals as a quest reward too, so its up in the air. I think it would be cool if they actually released an Xpack similar to Island of Mara. Add a single contested and some raid loots. Maybe if they arn't going to retune VP loot they should add an adventure pack for 4.99 with a couple handfuls of uber loot. Tangrin + advr pack contested + all those avatars would make for quite a spread contested game on servers with high competition.
