Alright this is another one of those good threads about the epic weapons, specifically the Mythical versions. With this thread I want to uncover what extreme disparities are now present since the launch of the mythical epic weapons. How has balance been messed up even further? What really stands out of place as being wrong when it comes to these weapons being realeased.

What I find ass backwards is where SK's are ending up with the introduction of the Mythical epic weapons. Every other class is seeing a great increase to DPS while the increase to a SK's DPS is marginal at best, even taking into account how the bards get their raid-wide buffs now. As backwards as it seems SK's took a nerf with these weapons, moving us from one of the better DPS fighters down to #5, right above Paladins.

Meanwhile you have classes that have seen huge increases to DPS, i.e basically every other class. Guards are even seeing close to a 2k increase to DPS. That is great, let them get that increase to DPS but as a SK i do not want to see the Defensive tanks out DPS'ing me, I am supposed to be an offensive tank.

Bards out DPS'ing offensive fighters is not a cool thing.

My epic is fine. If you as an SK are getting out dps'd by a bard you need to learn to fucking play.

No Arabel, that is how fucking broken the epics are. A SK's epic becomes a crutch, no increase in DPS since it doesn't DPS any better than using VP 2h'ers, and unlike all the other fucking classes in the game a 1h is not good DPS for SK's. We do not get to DW, we do not get the Warrior buckler line to give them max DA.

So yes, bards with their Epic can put out just as big of numbers as a SK now, not to mention that every fighter but a paladin will see a great increase to their DPS.

So Arabel tell me how can you even say anything when SD isn't even rolling with a SK? How would you know what the DPS increases were for us v. other classes? Learn to post when you have something worthwhile to say.

Coercers didnt get shit, so watch what you say about other people getting buffed...we have 2 useless effects and another that buffs someone-fucking-else.

edit: group mana flow is okay, but atm its bugged and returns 60+% power instead of 10%, thus KILLING our main AA line where we have to say under 30%
