I have PvP less and less when I realize all the tanking gear my wizard has gotten because of it.

Well, I haven't played in T8 since I quit when ROK launched, but I do remember a nice earring that dropped in MMIS that a few classes wished they could wear but the "restrictions" wouldn't allow them. That earing rotted more times then not because of it.

I agree with the people who say, "leave it up to the raid" on loot. A good raid force knows who should get what, and if someone cries about it...they can find a different raid guild IMHO.

For those of you crying "then I won't get ANY gear" If you are a good reliable raider, the loot distributers will recognize that and reward you for your efforts. (this coming from a Monk who had to compete with the scouts and tanks for his upgrades).

"OK folks, that ring with double attack, STR and INT is clearly a melee DPS ring" - Sorry bards, the 'real' melee DPS gets that first.
'OK, we've got a dagger with spell crit and arcane recovery III, mages put in your bids' - Sorry bards/crusaders you can't have that because the mages will get more out of it!

You want to know why very few people have bards as their mains? It's because they get royally FUCKED on loot. Guess what? Bards ARE fucking DPS. What do you think we do after we put our buffs up and spend 6-7 seconds debuffing?

Since everyone has the same auto-attack table now (scouts anyways) and since the 'real DPS scouts' are usually well into the diminishing returns curve for haste and DPS, bards technically get MORE out of that kind of gear than the 'real DPS scouts'. Even the double attack and crits give us (bards) the same increase in DPS as the 'real DPS scouts'. Same with +spell crits/dmg.

Actually if you have a dps dirge/troub they should make it pretty high on the parse against people.Because guess what we CAN crank out the numbers.
Until it gets to the point of rezzing.
So wizards no manaburn at the begining of fight =p
