Frankly, who cares that they ADDED power procs in with an abundance of goofy items...The GROUP power procs are the issue -
Essentially we don't have to worry about wasting time feeding power due to all of the additional power gear available - It's each individual's responsibility now IMO.
I mean when Sony nerfs a class - they normally do it directly - if they're gonna nerf chanters dps then at least man up and do it - They initially made it out to be - Everyone wants an enchanter in the group for buffs/power etc. - now they're saying you can be self-sufficient on power - that's fine - the problem is as Calaglin noted THE EPIC is ENOUGH - no high end avatar gear needs power procs - we should be rewarded either will heals or dmg based on our class.
I guess Sony wants to turn every encounter into an endurance fight!

Re: GROUP POWER PROC'ING ITEMS
I think you're crying because now you won't be able to handle VM full time. Oh well.
I think these items are good and bad at the same time. I don't think it should be an individual's problem, it should be the entire raid's problem. Your raid should know how to pick gear that doesn't suck and how to manage it wisely so you have enough power to last the entirety of the fight. You know, considering how god awful that earring is, I don't see why anybody would ever wear it outside of fights that are long-ish duration, or they didn't kill Avatars in EoF.
This item is fine. Group power procs are fine. VM is getting nerfed without getting nerfed, so be it. People have dealt with it just fine, you know what. Oh well. Time will tell you that you'll be fine. You know what, just hit sprint for the entire fight, don't turn it off and maybe you won't have any VM-related Power issues! But please, stop crying about group power procs. It allows more people in the raid to switch their gear out or allow them to spec differently(see wizards+manaburn) because of who much power they will have.
In the end, suck it up.

I also stated that not every group has an Illusionist, and now they won't need to have one because of this earring as well.

Re: GROUP POWER PROC'ING ITEMS
Paranoia view: They want to eliminate the 'utility' classes (enchanters, bards) by removing one of their prime functions, thus making them less needed/desirable.
Cynical view: They didn't test anything to this degree either internally or in Beta, so had no idea that this would occur.
Flamer view: They don't care what the impact is on the game, they just like playing with their numbers and designs. Look at what happened to SWG and how much they cared about player response to that.

Re: GROUP POWER PROC'ING ITEMS
The desire for Illusionists will not go away for a long long time due to how much dps they buff. The desire for coercers hasn't really been there for a long time . Coercers and Summoners need to be looked at imo.

Re: GROUP POWER PROC'ING ITEMS
They could cut all group power procs in half and it still won't be enough
