Re: GROUP POWER PROC'ING ITEMS
My 2 cents worth.
The 'Enchanter' as a whole is a class that in theory is there to give power regen and utility, it's our core ability and many of our spells are based on power drains and power procs, both as an individual and to our group.
DPS is an added bonus. Now SoE are we meant to BE utility or are we meant to BE DPS?
If we are meant to be utility then for fuck's sake, get rid of the INSANE power regen abilities this expansion has bought about.
So illus can't DPS without VM, and well neither can I, but what concerns me more than DPS is my utility to my raid force, and at this stage I have NOTHING to give.
If I wanted to play a pure DPS class I wouldnt be playing a Coercer.
The Girdle of the Di'Zok, the Avatar earring and even the Warden Epic is WAY over the top for Power regen.
Please bring some balance and usefullness back to the Enchanter as a whole. I once took pride in my ability to maintain my raids power, to make a difference now i have nadda to give except an effort to DPS to get a raid spot.

Re: GROUP POWER PROC'ING ITEMS
It's really all these power procs that make the Coercer (and I suppose Illusionist) Epics such a slap in the face, too.
MT groups with just 3 of those *easily obtainable* belts don't even need the basic power regen coercers give. And they certainly don't need the proc on the coercer epic weapon on top of it.
Utility classes need *real* utility or they are just a waste of a space that could go to someone who does better DPS.

Re: GROUP POWER PROC'ING ITEMS
How about the Illy's stop crying cause in a way they get the LONG comeing nerf bat, in an odd way???
Honestly Illy's arent supposed to do what mindwarped does, and I like mindwarped and he is GOD in someways but still wasnt meant to be this way. I mean why need a wizard when you can have an Illy?
In the end this doesnt even nerf you it just makes it HARDER for you, you can still do it though...now cant you???

Re: GROUP POWER PROC'ING ITEMS
what you dont realize is that illu's are very dependent on their mage group for dps... like in our mage group in strike,... mindwarped has myself and ajikia (the other wizard).. the 2 wizards alone give him a 10% boost in dps... the troub gives him another 10-15%, etc etc... take him out of that setup and he wouldnt parse as high. take one of the wizards out, we would probably parse pretty high, but wouldnt loose as much as an illu might.
in the case of the power procs... for mindwarpeds sanity we'll have to work it out within our own mage group so that he can parse high still.

Or, he can just deal with it and suck it up like everybody else will have to. Coercers are just as dependent on their mage group that they don't get for DPS as well. Here's a real tip, give up being overpowered by not bothering with VM! Because even in a mage group, it's not like VM is that important anymore, sure it's more DPS, but instead you could de-aggro a wizard with a few threat positions instead. In fact, it's almost tempting to do that.

Re: GROUP POWER PROC'ING ITEMS
Well... while I hear your DPS concern (being the first on parse), I don't understand your claims (bitching).
You want to be top parse and don't want to help your group in doing DPS. (SELFISH)
You don't want your raid succesfull unless you top parse and you don't help your friends in doing so? (SELFISH - EPEEN - GO FIND YOURSELF)
Since WoW, any players want to be the BEST of ALL while helping others is like degradations. Yeah... The superstar syndrome of the child that their mother didn't love enough to get the confidence he need to be helpful and grateful about it.
If you were a Pred, a Sorc or even a T2 DPS toon with utility, I had passed my comments.
But, FUCK! What are you thinking? You play a support class that every caster, every healer, every tank would love to have on his group or raid. For T1 DPS toon, they are just need for their DPS. And now, you simply just put your toon role inn the garbage can and ask that all the freaking Illusionist will wear a new selfish procs for you to be able to TOP PARSE the raid because the other are out of power.
Well... i think the majority of Illusionist had choose their class to bring support, not to don't give it to the group to be DPS superstars.
Thinking like you think is in the same way has the freaking Fury DPSing while refusing to spot heals or a BattleCleric who simply swing before heals. And while you catter to that position, you want to bring all the other illusionist (epic weapon for all of them...) like you are? A freaking bastard that didn't choose the right toon for the role he is created?
Yeah, right! ACT or parsing are not the best of the world. It give some rating of pure DPS classes. But Healer should heal, support should support FIRST. And if you top parsed everytime and on ZW, all the power to you. But asking that all the support that do support first than DPS later, should be impact by your wrong choice of classes is really SELFISH from you.
I guess you take TC for yourself with that numbers, that you support your DPS chains while bring the minimum support to your fellow raider to top parse. I guess you are the illusionist that when he is ask for Tandem by a wizzy, you either don't answer or said all your concentration slot are full. Yeah, like the Fury who say that he had Lucity you, when he didn't because he want to outparsed a T1 DPS toon.

Re: GROUP POWER PROC'ING ITEMS
You are wrong Jourdelune... mindwarped is very good about buffing the whole mage group,.. we work as a unit. i'd edit your post and not direct it towards him because he will come back here and tear you a new asshole.
