This is mainly for high end raiding enchanters, but could apply to others as well.

With the abundance of healers going for the group power proccing collection belt - I think it's called "girdle of the di'zok" as well as a new piece of avatar gear - the "upgrade or downgrade" to the Unkempt Earring which now procs group power - It's going to be ridiculously difficult maintaining a power pool UNDER 30% using our mythical - which also procs power for the group(keeps my group of 3 sorcs/healer/scout at 80% or higher most of the time).

I know for my group setup which includes 3 sorcerors - i'm sure each one would like the new version of the Unkempt Earring

HOW IN THE FUCK DOES SONY EXPECT US TO KEEP TO OUR VOLATILE MAGIC POWER REQUIREMENT WITHOUT LITERALLY SPRINTING EVERY F'ING SECOND.

I realize i'm bitching here, but at the same time it's going to eventually get unrealistic to dps fully and worry power going over 30% with the new GROUP POWER PROCs entering the game in this expansion.

Personally, I take pride in dps'ing at the top of the parse 6k-8.5k in RoK(depending on the zone) and if the goal of eq2 is not to run out of power during a fight
- please make it a personal power proc
- the whole group doesn't need power
- should be an individual's choice to use:
power gear vs. dps gear vs heal gear

I agree here, we have way too much power proc items now and with just Illus mythical it is pretty much impossible to go oop on fights without pwr drain and even on power drain fights keeping power is not a problem.

Dont blame the proc, its fine being group wide. Do you honestly expect players to agree that it should be changed to a "personal proc" just for the sake of a chanters AA spec?

What the devs should look into is giving chanters an ability to lock their own power % where they want it (aka reach a % and fire a maintained self buff that prevents regening past that %). It wouldnt be overpowering as it used to be /easymode anyways with sprint.

Sure it may trivalize one encounter out there for the enchanters, but oh well, your masters of power anyways.

How about a buff for enchanters (instant cast/recast so you could include it it macros) that just makes them immune to power regen effects. If you outright remove a lot of this stuff other people will suffer, and then complain about not getting enough power. AFAIK volatile magic is kind of a unique thing, and every other class appreciates the extra power. Idk, theres a balance somewhere...

The best chance you have at actually getting anything in this aspect changed is to ask for VM to be changed into a buff that makes your max power the top end of VM.

Or I dunno, find a balance and everyone doesn't need to wear it? If you don't need the power proc which with illu epic and just one person having it you don't, then the item sucks balls. It seriously is worse then last tiers if power is not an issue, which it shouldn't be.

The real question is not about Volatile Magic, but why the fuck is there so much god damn power procing items in the game now? Everything from Avatars seem to be POWER PROC, POWER PROC, POWER PROC! It's like, wasn't the Illusionist Epic enough for a group to be done with power regen issues? But now, no we have to be kept above 99% instead of just chilling at 90% or so. I just feel this is retarded. We do not need this much power procing gear. RoK is the expansion of power procs. KoS was FT, DoF was shit loot, EoF was power drain expansion, and then we have RoK which took the complete opposite of EoF, we have little power drains, but a shit ton of power procs. What is up with this dumb shit?

I don't really care so much about the VM issue, I care more about the fact that unless something changes, power pools will always be at 100%.
