I never exploited MO, like your guild. And no one in my guild got suspended for exploiting while leveling this expansion. In fact no one in my guild has ever been suspended for exploiting ever. Can't say the same for yours can you.

Do you have any earthly idea how badly Beghn fucked up crafting, and how much it sucked before Domino came along?

Had you been a crafter before, I believe you'd be singing her praises like I am. Crafting in EQ2 has made a complete turnaround for the better pretty much solely because of her.

When I started on Blackburrow on initial release, one thing I always found most amazing about this game was the number of housewives and ladies who played just for the crafting. EQ2 had to be the first and only major MMO that attracted this player segment.

That segment slowly began dropping out and all quit for the most part after crafting was destroyed at the beginning of DOF.

It wasn't just about those people who didn't play any more after crafting was ruined, it was also the effect on the game after they left.

Before most of them quit, they'd actually maintain order in many of the server channels, the crude 12 year olds wouldn't even mess with them, for the same reason kids fear their mom. I think the game became worse off when they left. Domino is bringing some of those people who are really only interested in crafting back. I think the game will be better off and stronger because of this diversity.

EDIT: Make no mistake though, I agree with you about those charm items being overpowered for items that can be made by crafters without a rare raid dropped component.

We have gotten druusk down to 49% without fucking with the adds in any way or miracles or mythicals or any such nonsense.
and we havent killed any avatars other then brell.

Then again you have to love guilds who "intentionally" depoped adds in an encounter then talk shit about they never exploit.

You obviously never played SWG. That game had plenty of full time crafters and a distinct lack of any need to adventure for a couple years after release.

I don't give a fuck if Domino is the crafting messiah or if you and her are good friends, the fact of the matter is she has a documented distate for raiding and it bleeds through in her work, as does her amazing favortism for her personal toon's crafting class.

Her main is a lvl 37 monk... still. However she might raid in Oynx, would make sense considering your thread I suppose - would also explain why she has her alts blocked on EQ2Players.
