t1 set piece (helm+) drop rate too low?

Does it seem to anyone else that the drop rate of t1/t2 set pieces are too small? My guild must have killed the mobs that drop helms 20 times and we've only seen one drop. At the rate we are going, it doesn't seem probable that even one member will get all the set pieces by expansion's end. The helms in particular are very nice, and I'd really like to get mine before the expansion is already over.

I know it's a fine line since they want us to have a reason to keep going back to the t1 zones, but it seems a little bit to improbable atm. Yes , I'm sure there's someone out there who has gotten lots of helms, but on the whole it feels too rare to me.

I fully agree. The brawler helm was only discovered last week on Befallen. I cannot tell you how many times we have killed the mob, but we very rarely see ANY class head drop. The shoulders also seem to be in short supply (at least the brawler ones).

took 3 or 4 months to discover the warrior set helm on nek, only just saw our first brawler helm today (yay me). entire set seems kinda low, we have had 3 brawler pieces all exp and like 30 total across all classes. sucks ass, some of the set pieces are pretty nice too. we keep getting inquis/templar shit half the time we run PR

yea really. i dont even get why it is inquis/templar only in the first place. not like it is groundbreaking gear, and it would be nice for a pally/sk just to get some t8 armor

I think we were saying really shitty cleric loot. But shitty bard loot I guess I'd prefer not to see that either.

More set helm,chest, and shoulder drops in '08. :D

I agree guys - set pieces are just not dropping much right now.
BTW - what are your drop rates on the buckler out of PR - we are approaching our 20th run and still not seen it drop yet. (I knwo random, blah blah blah)

We all know SOE standard operating procedure - Loot drops like candy for the first month of an explansion, then gets turned down for 5-9 months, and turned back up just before the next expansion.

So it CAN'T be coincidence that so many people have rarely seen any set pieces EXCEPT for the cleric crap.

All 3 of our clerics are decked out on PR armor with several pieces being muted. Meanwhile we've seen like 4 set pieces drop that weren't in the cleric set.

We've also cleared PR a ton of times and still no buckler.
