No, I read it all, I just think the argument is retarded. Sure, specific effects for specific classes in some cases are okay. A 10 or even 15 crit bonus for a brawler where a scout might get 7 might be okay. 50 is overkill for the difficulty of the mob, and hiding it behind a class flag is just retarded.

"Well mages don't have much hp, so flagging one item mage-only and giving it 1500 hp should be okay, since they're only mages."

Too bad that would also still be op'ed as shit, especially if it came off a mob as easy as druushk.

And for the record, I don't want this item. I think the shit that avatars have should be unique, there shouldn't be mini-me versions of it off of gimp vp mobs.

By your logic, the bp could proc 1000 crit and it still wouldn't be overpowered because people are already at 80 and close to cap. I don't really give a shit, it's called bad design. If you can take a shitty raid alt that's dressed in trash, and from 1 bp drop off an easy-as-fuck mob pretty much max out his crit from much lower than a high-end brawler would have, the item is fucking overpowered.

You also love bringing up the t1-t3 items, but the essential problem with the items you're bringing up is that the devs got lazy in handling the jewelry in VP, they just removed flags. They upgraded a few pieces, and otherwise, left other pieces as total shit. I think treasureseeker's is overpowered, yes, and probably does need a nerf. But what it really makes me question more is how a dev could know that it's out there and think that removing flags from the shitty jewelry was enough to balance it.

It's nerfed to 35% and proc rate can't be modified.

However, do I really care? No.

Just like what I posted, crit proc is really lame rather than overpowered for high end players. I prefer it changing to 9 crit and 125CA damage similar as caster robe from Hoshkar.

Why? Because I can have about 110% crit and more CA damage constantly rather than 135% crit for 16 sec every minute.

Actually that would be better a 9 melee crit and 125ca damage Gi with a double stone skin proc /group power proc seems perfectly balanced to the caster robe.

Wouldn't have a huge problem with that, though they should probably open it up to scouts then too, since the robe can be used by any mages. They'd obviously still have to restrict it from other fighters, but yeah, I think what brawlers need at this point is a lot more fixing to help them actually tank, not just keep pimping out their dps, and that would obviously help.

lets see i was in Defiant on RE, i left them, moved to CB, left them as i was lied to on my app, rejoined and tried to stick it out, but decided enough was enough, and quit playing eq2.
i came back and got convinced to rejoin defiant on RE, left them to app to Disso, and had to witthdraw my app due to RL changes, and the fact RoK sucks bigtime. so i dont raid.
