i wouldnt say its "ridiculously overpowered"... they essentially added either a proc, or a bit more crit/spelldmg, or improved a proc, or added one small effect per item. basically one aspect upgraded for most items. oh, and the jewelry is now all/all.

i think we can all agree that the VP gear was not in line with progression from T1->T3->VP... it makes sense now.

might need a couple tweaks here and there, but this in no way invalidates contested/trakanon loot.

The funny thing is the Set BP is arguably better.
The proc rate on the linked picture is wrong its not 2.2 its 1.8ppm.
With the changes to proc rates i will have to see whats really better. Its not that i dont think the item is good i just think the new set bp will be better.

I like my Mystical Aura Chainmail for my defiler better before the change than after it. Like I said in guild chat, I need a power proc about as much as a fish needs tits.

Agreed, changing the casting haste seems unreasonable to me. I guess I will still be wearing a t7 robe over it, ironically.
