If they are testing it you don't start in the middle and decide which way to go with loot. You aim high and then bring it down as little as possible,or as needed. Not quite true, i agree Shaman got fucked, if by that you mean Defilers! :-)

For once, Mystics are a little less misunderstood, as some of the mystic set changes are great (rather than the way it was before, when i wanted 0 Mystic set pieces, now i want like 3 or 4). But it does go to show, that SOE STILL Has no fucking clue what they are doing, because it used to be that our gear had similar stuff to defiler gear (even though the nature of us as melee'rs and such was a little different, and our power levels are no where near yours), and now they are giving you guys stuff to i guess help you with power (which you dont need) like they gave us +Spell Damage and +Spell Crits previously (when just about any mystic had the combat arts stuff).

So lets be a lil clear'er in the end, Defilers got screwed. Mystics can use any help we can get with power procs and i want more Melee DPS gear for my Mystic!

the removing of class restriction on scout & brawler armor whould be the easiest way to get some interesting melee stuff for melee priests (like they did on vp jewelery).

Taking a look at the Gi.

Since this item seems to be a hot topic amongst the melee class , here is a few changes that can be made to possibly change the way that it can be handle'd.

Mind you I am a brawler myself and I like the way the revamp looks with it , but have to be fair. Especially since a lot of the arguement is based on the old Robe of Battle vs New Rainment , with this item being in the middle.

Lift the Class Restriction.
Possibly drop the DPS mod or leave the old DPS mod in ( 5 DPS ).
Bring the Deflection down to 5 deflection.
Cosmetic Change - name the item Robe of Swirling Lava , possibly add a swirling effect to the robe , similair to the Cloak of Flames look.
Make this a rare drop from Druushk.

This would also mean you need to re-up the Resplendant Rainment Effect's to be in line.

The above , i will leave to the people who actually can obtain the rainment and want to put their feedback in.
