How stupid do you have to be?
This is a new thread on the official forums about an item from a loot card in LoN. It increases the amount of guild status gained by 10% Buyer/Trader BEWARE!!! LON Loot card is not what it appears to be - Token of Loyalty In it, no one knows how to either read or do math, no wonder they are the only ones left posting there. Here is the quote from the descriptor. "When Equipped: Increases the amount of status contributed to the guild by 10%." People actually thought this item would increase gain by 100% rather than 10%. The amount of status contributed now is already 10% of a reward. Where the descriptor says "the amount of status contributed to the guild" it is identifying the current amount of status(10%) as the subject. Therefore, a 10% increase in the total gain should equal 1% of rewarded status. Am I rite about this? Is that what the quoted item descriptor actually means? Do allot of EQ2 players rly not know how English works? I mean, i type like shit cause its faster than being good but damn, at least I could look smarter if I wanted to, Im one lazy assed mofo tho who doesn't care what you internet people think. Also, i think people are really stupid and dont understand how this item can actually work. If you have that item, and level a guild 100% all by your self, a whooping 10% of your guild XP or w/e will have come from just this item. Doesn't that actually seem like allot? I dont give a shit about guild XP my self and I dont think its game breaking but isnt it actually a really good item for people who like to do allot of guild leveling? Arnt these people stupid? Arnt they fucken sucker assed cry babies? Arnt should be a real word cauz I use it allot

I read it, but honestly it sounds like whoever has it equipped, whatever they do for GSP, will be increased by 10%. I really can't tell if that's how you meant it or not though. If so, then yes, I agree with you. If not, I guess I'd have to actually stop being lazy and click the link for the card to get a full description of what you're talking about. But... you know, I'm lazy.

Re: How stupid do you have to be?
Personally I think it seems clear that it'd only make it 11%, but I can sort of see where they got the idea that it could've doubled it. That said, XFD at Ezekil paying 150 plat for one of them.
