I really wish they would put this option into the game, along with a few others.

I really like the appearance options in LOTRO. You get two "appearance profiles", and can 1-click show the either one of them, or your main armor. There are also little buttons next to shoulders, boots, hat, cloak, and gloves to turn the appearance of the items on, or off.

I'm also a sucker for cool particle effects, and I wish I could display some of my cool looking weapons/shields in my appearance slot, instead of my normal items..
