Default Having two Thuuga pieces

I've only been around since December so, I am guessing it was some glitch where people sold and bought back...

So how did people end up with two? for instance, saw a mage with bangle and bracelet.

exactly as you think they did. there was a point at which the devs added more selections, and offered the "trade" for the other piece, but people sold, did the "trade", bought back and now have 2.

Well that kinda BS should be fixed, they should be required to pick one.

Gives unfair exploit to others...

Actually, the problem was with SOE.

When Thuuga was introduced and completed, the Mage community was angered because there were two items with +75 Heal (one with just +75 Heal and a Priest skill set and the other with +75 Heal/+2 Spell Crit and a Mage skill set). One of them (Bracelet of Thuuga) was clearly designed wrong, since it had Mage skills and +2 Spell Crit on it...and it was the second item with +75 Heal.

So the Mages complained, and SOE announced they would change the Bracelet of Thuuga to use +75 Spell Damage instead of +75 Heal.

Well...the Furies got furious (pun intended). They liked the Bracelet of Thuuga. It improved their heals, let their spells crit more, and gave them more INT for more spell damage. So they complained.

In the end, SOE caved to the Furies and created a NEW item with +2 Spell Crit and +75 Spell Damage. Only they screwed it up.

They made the new item in a different slot. While the Bracelet of Thuuga was a Wrist item, the Bangle of Thuuga (at introduction) was an Ear item. So many Mages, myself included, felt betrayed by and lied to by SOE...since they had promised us a fixed Bracelet, and instead introduced the Bangle in a different slot.

So many of us sold our Bracelets, got the Bangle...and then bought back the Bracelets (myself included) because we didn't want to have an empty Wrist slot (since we were all expecting the Bracelet to get changed, and no one knew SOE was going to instead create an Ear item for us) until we found another suitable item.

Don't get mad at those of us who repurchased the Bracelet after getting the Bangle. Get mad at SOE for leaving us with no choice by announcing they were going to fix the Wrist item and instead introducing an Ear item.

What are those the only things for those slots?

So basically what you're saying is it's cool that you have 2 Fabled rewards from one quest?

It's already been fixed and you can't do that if you did quest after they made Bangle of Thuuga reward an avaible option.

Think you still can get Bangle of Thuuga and keep your first reward this way if you did quest before these changes which sounds fair, because there was same situation with Anaphylaxis reward and you could complete quest 2nd time if you did it before they made a new avaible reward ( i myself have priest and mage weapons but never use mage one).

Why do you care at all? This wasn't relevant to me as a melee, but why should I care about this at all? So some mages have two Thuuga items. Bully for them.

Really sucks the way the fix was implemented. For some classes (ie bards) two of those items are some of the best we can get until VP or Avatars. Shame on me for not being able to exploit this quest before. Not to knock anyone that did, but I dont really see how 2 rewards are deserved.

It's really not that big of a deal to me or else I would of started my own thread. I couldn't care less what people do as long as it doesn't directly affect me in any way.

But I am more than free to make my own opinions of anyone. And my opinion of peeps that wear 2 Thuuga rewards are, as the poster above me stated, exploiters.

Are they not? Defend your position.
