So shard of hate drops these mage robes for each archtype of mage..summoner/enchanter/sorc.


Why does the summoner one get a lesser enchance pet ability then the enchanter robe? Both enchanter/sorc robes are desirable and actually worth wearing if you don't have a robe of dark power or robe of al kabor, but the summoner robe isn't even worth wearing. The effects on summoner robe also give no benefit to raiding and thats how you get it..from raiding.

yea the summoner robe seems pretty crappy.. we dont even get crit like the other 2.

Please actually look at what the robe does to your pet before talking about them.

The description is wrong. It also adds a Damage proc that's fairly large to your pet.

And rofl, the Enchanter one is god awful.

I agree the summoner robe needs adjustments to make it worth wearing and competitive, but have you yourself worn it to see what the buff does?

okay how much damage does it do? id hope its alot to compensate for not getting crit on it.

Damage on the buff is not affected by any self worn base damage increasers even though it shows it does on the examine window (was wearing choker and MC cloak)...normal proc is for 1485 heat dmg has crit in raid for a little over 3k albeit still somewhat random at times (the proc that is). Side note the buff also does not stack fully with the buff from Blackened Band of the Voidcaller.

so... its basically now official, that guardian is the only tank class?

or is that supposed to be dependant on the pets class and if so, is the tank pet actually a guardian? mmh

I'm almost positive Warlocks are tanks, because they love to grab agro on pull.

It's related to pet's class..conjuror pets are guardians, necro pets are supposedly berserkers even tho they display more shadowknight abilities (but that's another story!!)...I pretty much never use my tank pet so I haven't tested to see if the buff applies to my pet correctly.
