How many people thought all the fear immunity gear and sof was a waste? This for sure is not main gear but may a take a place in my bags till i find the uber goblin i want to kill. The introduction of bane gear into eq2 i find interesting and wonder what other bane gear we will see in the future.

Creating a new heroic zone with new loot so late in an expansion means that itemization will be difficult. Should the loot be better than the current legendary stuff? Should it be close to T1 raid gear? Should it be worse than top notch Chelsith / Maidens gear? Should it attempt to fit into a niche? It seems difficult, but hey, it's their job.

I guess the thinking with the Gobline Bane proc was to create niche gear that is really cool and better than previous gear, but only IN the new instance, no where else. That might be a good idea, but imo it fails since nobody will switch around 90% of his gear just to do an isntance, let alone adorn it. They probably attempted the same with the SOF gear with Resist Greater Fear on it, but it failed as well.

Itemization wise, I think it would've been good to put about 5 new fabled items in there that are upgrades for all non-raiders (they maybe did, who knows), and put the legendary drops on the same level as Maidens+Chelsith legendary loot (aka slightly better than Vaults/COA stuff). Maybe they did, we'll need to see the whole loot table first I guess.

Anyway, since every named drops legendary, it'll be nice for transmuting even if the loot itself is no upgrade to anybody except a few choice pieces (given they don't nerf the boxes after 1 week).

You tell me. I kept it because it was great for Shield Ally and had good resists.

The zone is filled with mobs, but not as many as you would think, although every room is used. (Warlocks will love this zone :P)

No, just a zone out to Enchanted Lands where Overlords Throne Room is.

Absolutely.

Too late to fix the other gear now though I guess.

Looks like "Saavedra" completely wasted his time, but thanks to this thread he won't waste mine.

You can't really judge anything yet. Only the first 7 images are loots from the actual zone. The rest are questrewards.
So there is still probably plenty of loot to discover, some of it fabled as well.

And Severilious is a contested epic so it should have better loot then the group instances. (Even if you can one-group it)

Default Re: loot impressions from RE2

question

the lesser and great, do they stack
meaning if you put on all 4 for the mage bonus one, you would get 5 spell crit and 2 procs and the reuse

now do both the lesser and great give each other the bonus? or does it have to be different set

next expansion could be over run with goblins, so these banes might be nice

overall gear sucks, hopefully there will be rare nice items

note i am half asleep
