Alright the Tempest World Event Rewards...I honestly thought all of them were just one big waste of time except for the Cloak..

Well the chest piece that makes it where you're are shirtless was pretty fuckin sweet seeing as I'm a brawler.

Mages who hated their gloves also now have a way of fixing it.

Bitched about issues fixed with an easy grind of easy quests. Zing

The rewards are ok. New house items / 1 new house pet, a new cloak, invisible gear, new light emitting items, why not.

My problem is with how to achieve the rewards..... repeatable quests? Bullshit. Tedious, annoying timesink crap. Why not make a quest for each of the items? Because of the costs to make 25+ new quests. Alright, I can dig that. Then why not allow people to buy the items with status points as soon as they've done the quest once?

Or, alternatively, bind the storms in each zone to a specific reward, f.e. curing the affected creatures in The Peat Bog gives the cloak, and curing in Commonlands gives the house pet, etc. But this repeatable nonsense bullshit timesink crap? Fuck it. And 5 notes for a fucking standard looking treasured weapon? What's the frigging point?

Not much of a time sinc if your a wizard. To the OP I like the charm slots that give you a glowing light aura around your toon.

I see, I totally agree with mafoe.Although having myself glow would be cool.But isn't one of the veteran awards able to make your hands glow?

You can never have enough appearance slot items, especially for level 1 characters who are a long way off from the ones most of us use.

I liked the "shiny" house items. (Pretty much makes it look like there's a ? on the floor.)
Everyone and their mother has the cloak. I didn't even buy one.

The orbs that make you glow are weak I could barely tell there was a different color to them (especially the blue one). Tish Tinker's torches are far better.

Can't use appearance slot till level 20 btw.

Personally I love the new house items (always in favor of more house items), and I think the new weapons are really cute (come on a pillow or bottle!!). I will get but probably never use the cloak as none of my color schemes are blue except maybe my dirge alt. The black robe is nice, the invisible stuff is cool, I wanted to hide my gloves with the leather skywatcher sleeves, but the other armor sets are meh and honestly I'm not sure of the point other than armor is very blah until ebon and cobalt.

I think the wake up juice is pretty cool... despite there being zero point to leveling the drinking skill, once in a while I work on it and then i'm like ug make it stop... and have to log till it goes away.

I'm guessing the charm slot things are glowy effects which I like but I could live without.

Before it goes away I will be spending a day getting enough notes to get 1 of (almost) everything on my SK because I can't stand not having limited items, and even some on each toon becasue I will want everyone to have a few things. I'm sort of dreading it because I don't find repetable quests fun in any way shape or form unless it is harvesting.

Someone brought to my attention recently that other players can no longer see your light sources like torches, SBS, and the earring of the solstice and dammit they are right. I haven't noticed anyone with these new ones or have them myself, are they visible to others?
