I know it is soe policy to never transfer items from a person who was in raid to someone who was not..

however I was wondering if anyone was able to accomplish this?

Not I, they seem pretty diligent at checking logs to see who was in the raid at the time.

Our guild had a tank that was absolutely terrible but has been with the leader of the guild for around 3 years and acculmated alot of dkp and coonstantly went MIA.

He came back and started bidding on some items due to a flaw in our dkp system, a ring of replusion dropped and he was bidding on it, a wizard took the item and petitioned it to another player about 3mins after looting and they gave the monk the item he petitioned it too about 15mins later.

Yea raid member to raid member is easy, I was talking about if you were out of raid. I missed star forged bo upgrade and can't for the life of me get them to transfer it even though our inquis is completely willing.

Have you petitioned multiple times (some GM's are "nicer" and more willing to help)? Asking for a Lead GM could maybe work.

I wish they'd go back to tier 5 were all the loot was tradable. Even if it meant epics dropped wood so you couldn't flood the server with fabled.

Did you try saying that you were in the raid, but had a power outage and couldnt log back on?

i remember back in KoS vyemm bugged and droped a chest in a wall, 1 day later GM gave us the item back (pally BP and shitty2hander) and a guildi pally who wasnt in the raid or even stepped in the instance with any of his toons was given the BP by the GM.

i think GM should be allowed to give you the item, just explain you couldnt log for raid the said day due to power outage because of hurricane or whatever reason. tell him that if EULA wasnt preventing you from giving account info the raidleader would have logged your toon and made you loot it.
