It all depends on the GM you get and how willing they are to help you. Its the same thing with any customer service department.... how many times have you called your cell phone company, cable company, etc... and at times gotten reps who would do anything to help you, follow up on your issue, make sure you're happy, but on the other hand.... most of the times will get reps who just dont give a fuck and just want to get you off the phone. The helpful reps seem to be few and far between, but eventually, you should find one... its just about patience..... and.... is the item worth continually trying over and over to get back?

I remember back in the day when Nizara was hard and we were doing it for the first time, tryin to finsih the rift, and didn't really know the best order to kill the mobs in, etc.... Well, I had won the herbs, that you need to burn in order to activate the mob you can only melee. Well, we had been in there awhile, and at the time, the zone was so buggy, that everyone in the group had LDd at some point. The herbs were no zone.... so upon LD, they poofed, and we couldn't activate that named to kill it, so I petitioned. The GM told me that they couldn't give them back to me... stated their reimbursement policy, etc... I argued that I'm not looking for something to be reimbursed.... nothing that I destroyed or anything, not even an item that has any value, just something needed to complete the zone. I had told them I didnt care what they did, if they gave it back to me, if they wanted to respawn the mob and have us kill it again, if they wanted to come in and see that the mob that drops it is dead.... or even if they wanted to just come and activate the named for us.... point was that we just wanted to be able to finish the zone, and at the time, with as long as it took.... we didnt want to waste all our time. It took me about an hour of talking to them, not taking no for an answer, and when they said no, just asking to speak to their supervisor, or someone who could help me.... and eventually, they must have gotten sick of arguing with me, since they finally returned the item. So... it can work.

This is GM Loila from Sony Online Entertainment, thank you for contacting us. I am sorry to know that you have sold the "Brock's Thermal Shocker" that you have received on completing the "Find Gingus" quest on 2007-03-14 at 20:45:16 PST.

I can understand how upset you must be because of this issue. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you and for the delay in replying to your petition.

I investigated and found that you have sold the "Brock's Thermal Shocker" on 2007-03-17 at 18:46:22 PST for '4320' coins. I have reimbursed the "Brock's Thermal Shocker" to you after removing the '4320' coins from your inventory. Please find the "Brock's Thermal Shocker" in your inventory / overflow.

<snip>
Yay GM Loila!

yeah if you don't get something back that you accidentally deleted, sold or whatever just petition it again. a while ago before KoS heritage items were on the shady swashbuckler i sold my bone-clasped girdle and it took three petitions to get it back but i eventually did.

I accidentally donated some relic legs to my diety. A case of lag or something but I was dragging a crap treasured pair of pants into the slot but somehow it equipped the crap legs and it ending up putting my relic legs into the donation box. I clicked donate and it still mentioned the treasured legs and I hit confirm. They werent able to reproduce the problem but said it was probably some lag and reimbursed the item. They said they will only do it once though and if anything were to happen again like that they wouldnt reimburse me.

I once sold my Power osmosis book(the book you get from the labs claymore quest). A friend of mine told me that they will usually give you back one item and only one time ever. So I made this my one time ever and got it back on the first petition. The GM told me that it would be the only time they would give back a item again from selling, so a guess my friend is right.

My brother wasted his one time on that stupid haste giving sword from HoF...wtf...I was like "dude joel if you do this and then sell your qeynos guard one day you know im gonna give you everlasting shit about it right?" lol
