Poisons can be resisted?

Uhm, after looking at a few parses, it seems that you can't get a resist on Caustic Poison, however with the EH crafted Poisoned Seeds you can get resists. I'm thinking this is probably an oversight when creating them, that just needs to be corrected.

You mean a complete upright resist? If so, I'm going to hold out on distributing those to my predators and rogues until it's fixed... don't want to waste any.

Was using these on named fights in EH tonight, I'll have to review my logs and see if any of the procs were in fact resisted.

Edit: After reviewing the logs, it in fact does seem as though they can be resisted. The Herald managed to resist 2 of the 22 procs from Poisoned Seeds. Which means I lost about 4k damage... being that it usually proc'd for 2021.

Hmm..this would explain why I was not doing signifcant more poison dmg compared to caustic..I'm gonna take a look at my logs.

Whats your INT/class for 2021k poison?

Predator has extremely high spell crits - he's a ranger, you can tell from his sig. If he has an assassin on the raid using proper debuff poisons with proper AAs, the assassin alone debuffs over 5,000 poison, and other classes adding to the debuffs makes poison extremely debuffed. The poison itself reads for over 1000 at only 230ish int, and I raid at over 530 int. With 30% more damage from a spell crit and the debuffs, Caustic which reads around 830 for me crits for 1800. A poison that should read 1200 should crit for up to 2200 or higher.

Mystify has it right, Im a ranger. Im spec'd down Agi and Int lines. The predator Int line allows you to max out your poison (or spell as they call it) Crits to 52% I believe. I was also groups with a Conjy, a Warlock and Troub. Off hand, my Int was buffed to over 300 (I dont have the exact number). The lowest hit that I saw for that fight was like 1550ish, and the max hit was for 2200+. Im at work now, but I can post the pic, when I get home, from act if youd like to see it. The majority of the procs were for 2021 though.

Has anyone else got actual numbers of resists out of procs? Or heard if this is working as intended? Our guild just got the recipie last night, and if its working as intended then I'll start passing it out, if its not, I'd like to hang on to it until it gets fixed since the stuff isn't really cheap.

I used a vial last night, and got 14 resists out of 149 swings, so the hitrate was just over 90% I havent bothered to use another yet, because there is so much trash inbetween named, so I'll wait to throw another on till all our 3rd floor trash is cleared.

I'm expecting the hit rate to be significantly higher, because the majority of the resists were from one of the Prince named's add who is resistant to spells. It did land on that add a few times too, but normal poisons werent resisted completely from what I saw with our other scouts poisons.

Also, a seedling resisted the Poisoned Seeds a couple times =/ so there is an issue of it being resisted.
